Schneider recruited Kelly after finding him on a rock pool when she was snorkelling at Coogee Beach on the south side of Sydney.

Melinda, now 35, recently returned from a U.S. sojourn and launched family musical Schneiderville in Adelaide.

The singer hooked up with stone country singer Elizabeth Cook on her trip.

Their song Sometimes It Takes Balls To Be A Woman was a highlight of Schneider's previous album Stronger that included two other collaborations with Cook.

That song - also title track of Cook's fourth album - made the finals of the prestige 2007 Americana Awards in Nashville.

"That was a big thrill to be in the same awards category as Lucinda Williams and Patty Griffin," Schneider conceded.

Cook, singing spouse of Nashville singer Tim Carroll, joined the cast of Conway Twitty, The Man, The Music, The Legend, The Musical.

Elizabeth portrayed one of the latest country star's daughters - Joni.

"These are nowhere near the best years of your life," he sings in his video.

He appreciates his past without regarding it as the golden age.
