Keith Urban And Laney Wilson Headline Nu Country TV
Expatriate Australasian superstar Keith Urban and recent tourist Lainey Wilson headline Nu Country TV on Saturday October 26 at 9.30 pm on Channel 31/Digital 44.
Floridian duo The Bellamy Brothers, Tennessean Dustin Lynch and Nashville hip hop country convert Jelly Roll appear on the show repeated at 3 am on Monday.
Whey Jennings – grandson of the late Waylon – and Pistol Annies star Ashley Monroe boomerang to the program filmed and edited by Laith Graham.
Tamworth star maker finalist Nathan Lamont also returns this week.
Nu Country TV is a highlight of C 31 streaming list on Digital 44.
This series is dedicated to late Nu Country TV host and treasurer Mid-Pacific Bob Olson and Vice President Rod Browne.

Keith And Lainey Home Travel Advice
Four-time Grammy winner Keith Urban and Louisianna lass Lainey Wilson prove singing is safer than driving after drinking in bars in their return to our show.
Keith, now 56, joined Lainey, 32, as they won awards on TV shows after she toured here this year.
Lainey released fifth album Whirlwind on August 23 after touring here with Jackson Dean and Kameron Marlowe with a Margaret Court Arena concert on March 21.
Keith and Lainey performed their Go Home With You video featuring live performance footage from Nissan Stadium in Nashville during this year’s CMA Music Festival.
It’s the fourth single from Keith’s 16th album High released on September 20.
Urban said “A friend of mine suggested the idea of making the song a duet and I immediately thought of Lainey. Besides the fact that I love her voice, she’s got the swagger and attitude that fit so well with the song.”
Urban’s High explores themes of living in the moment, human connection, and personal reflection.
“What makes you high can mean whatever you want it to mean,” Urban explains.
“For me, it’s my family, my friends, and the joy of playing live.”
Keith headlined a night of music and conversation titled in Ridin’ High hosted by The Betoota Advocate at The Bob Hawke Beer & Leisure Centre in Sydney on September 3.
Wilson won Entertainer of Year and Female Artist of Year and Music Event of Year for Save Me Jelly Roll at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May.
Wilson has won six Academy Of Country Music Awards and seven Country Music Association Awards.
She frequently appeared on Nu Country TV with her videos Texas When I Die, You Can’t Make Old Friends, Watermelon Moonshine, Wildflowers And Wild Horses, God Bless Texas and Hang Tight Honey.

The Bellamy Brothers Boomerang
The Bellamy Brothers – David, 74 and Howard now 70, return to our show almost 40 years after they were guests in our Nu Country FM studio at Beer Can Hill, Northcote, in our radio era.
They prove their heavenly humour is a joy – like a reefer and prayer – in their new video Crawl In A Hole.
It’s on the Florida duo’s 31st album.
They were raised on music on their southern Florida family citrus farm and dairy fields and last toured here in October 2014.
David and Howard also headlined Nu Country TV Saturday April 10, 2021, with their video for No Country Music For Old Men.
They also appeared on our show with videos diverse as two versions of Old Hippie, Boobs, If You Ever Leave, Get Into Reggae Cowgirl and Country Rap.

Whey Jennings Finds A Girl On A Fast Horse
Whey Jennings finds another form of transport in his return to our show.
Whey, now 42, chose a lass on a fast horse but it wasn’t his singer-songwriter grandma Jessi Colter.
Whey’s wild woman was eulogised by his duet partner Charity Bowden.
She stole a kiss and roped his heart before she rode away high in the saddle.
Girl On A Fast Horse is on Whey’s debut album Jekyll & Hyde.
Whey previously fronted our show with Ten Day Run, Just Before The Dawn and Don’t You Think This Outlaw Things Done Got Out Of Hand that was cut by his late grandfather Waylon as the second single on his 1978 album I’ve Always Been Crazy.
He echoed wild times of Waylon who died at 64 on February 13, 2002.
Whey’s previous EPs were Gypsy Soul in 2020 and If It Wasn’t for The Sinning in 2022.

Dustin Lynch And Jelly Roll Up In A Chevvy
Tennessean star Dustin Lynch returns to our show with his taste of the day – Jelly Roll a hip hopper from Nashville suburb Antioch.
Dustin, now 40, and Jelly Roll, aged 39, won plenty of spectators when they rode in a Chevvy for their Chevrolet video that is on Dustin’s sixth album Killed The Cowboy.
Jelly Roll has also released 10 albums after serving jail time for drugs.
Dustin moved from Tullahoma to Nashville in 2003 where he studied Biology and Chemistry at Lipscomb University.
Lynch previously fronted our show with Small Town Boy from his third album Current Mood.

Knoxville Girl Ashley Monroe Hot Rod Pipe Dream
Tennessean Ashley Monroe exhibits her pipe dreams in her Nu Country TV return.
Ashley, now 38, hit the open road with a gal pal for a scenic trip in her Hot Rod Pipe Dream video.
It follows her six solo albums and four with Texan Miranda Lambert and the Pistol Annies.
She also fronted our show with Risen follows her sixth solo album Rosegold in 2021.
Ashley also fronted our show with fellow Texan Jon Randall with Hands on You from her fifth solo album Sparrow released in April. 2018, and Onto Something Good from her second solo CD The Blade in 2015.
The Knoxville girl wed former Chicago White Sox pitcher John Danks on October 24, 2013, after they met through a mutual friend after one of her shows in 2011.
They were married at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee.
“I married my best friend,” the singer says of her husband.
Blake Shelton was wedding MC and former singing spouse and Miranda Lambert was maid of honor.

Nathan Lamont Rides Shotgun
Tamworth Starmaker and 2016 Voice TV show finalist Nathan Lamont hits the open road to chase his dream girl in his return to our show.
His pursuit was rewarded – he won a blonde bombshell.
I’m Calling Shotgun is on Nathan’s debut album.
“The idea of I’m Calling Shotgun is about a guy in love with a girl in a toxic relationship, saying he’s ready to go if she ever wants something new” Albion Park raised Lamont revealed.
“I had a very big musical family. We come from a long line of singers. My siblings, I’ve got 22 siblings. Six of them sadly passed before I was born. My dad started having children back in the ’40s because he was born in 1926, so he was 67 when I was born. They were all already singing and gigging before I was even born. I was just born into it, exposed to music from a very early age, and it was country, of course.”
Nathan also fronted our show with Tamworth Starmaker winner Loren Ryan in My Favourite Summer video from her five track EP Homecoming released on January 19 – her 29th birthday.

The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 80, and son Shooter, 44.
