Texan outlaw star Cody Jinks headlines Nu Country TV at 9.30 pm on Saturday July 13.
Oklahoma singer-songwriter Kaitlin Butts and Louisiana lass Kristen Foreman debut on our program repeated Monday at 3 am.
Brisbane band The Wet Whistles, Townsville singer Tammy Moxon and Alabama outlaw Riley Green also appear on our show filmed and produced by Laith Graham.
This series is dedicated to late Nu Country TV host and treasurer Mid-Pacific Bob Olson and Vice President Rod Browne.

Texan singer-songwriter Cody Jinks reveals why he wakes up screaming at 3 am in his new video Few More Ghosts.
Cody, now 43, believes in more friendly demons when he is out on the lost highway.
The Fort Worth outlaw chose friendlier horsepower on his recent Nu Country TV video Outlaws and Mustangs.
Cody and his band Tone Deaf Hippies previously fronted our show with his videos for Loud & Heavy at the Adobe Sessions Unplugged in Tornillo, Texas, in 2015 and live version of Biblical parable Cast No Stones on Asleep At The Wheel singer Ray Benson’s Texas Music Scene.

KAITLIN BUTTS OKLAHOMA ROAD RUNNER
Oklahoma belle Kaitlin Butts proves she is a road runner rebel in her Nu Country TV debut.
She showcased love of touring that landed her on the Grand old Opry in 2022.
Kaitlin, 31, is married to Flatland Cavalry singer Cleto Codero.
Her duet on Flatland Cavalry song A Life Where We Work Out was certified Gold.
Roadrunner is the title track of her third album out on June 28.

KRISTEN FOREMAN SPICY DIET
Louisiana lass Kristen Foreman revives memories of our late co-host Mid-Pacific Bob Olson on her Nu Country TV debut.
Kristen took us on a trip through her Cajun country roots and showcased her delicious diet with her new video Spicy from her new album.
She now lives in Nashville and wrote Spicy with another Nelson – Ryan – not Shotgun Willie who is 91 and out on the road again.
Foreman graduated from university with a marketing degree in 2015 and spends a lot of time touring Texas.
She released debut album Feather Tattoo in 2016 and her hits include I Don’t Cry In My Cowboy Hat and I Hope Your Biscuits Burn.

THE WET WHISTLES GUILTY AS CHARGED
Brisbane quartet The Wet Whistles debut on Behind Bars with a guilty confession when they strut their stuff in the deep south of Queensland.
Their new single Guilty Of A Good Time was released in March.
The band features Caillin Malley, Nick Trovas and The Hill Brothers – Jordan and Jake.

TOWNSVILLE TROUBADOUR TAMMY MOXON RETURNS
Townsville singer-songwriter Tammy Moxon extends her musical longevity on her return to our show.
Tammy, now 33, debuted on stage aged 5 with her musician dad at Charters Towers country festival.
Moxon returned at 23 and won the Charters crown in 2014.
She played local gigs as a teenager with Jade Holland and pursued a career in childhood teaching.
Moxon is now back on the road again like fellow Queensland show debutantes The Wet Whistles.
She performs Ready Now from her third album Fighting Chance that was produced by Shane Nicholson and delayed because of Covid.
Tammy previously appeared on our show with her videos for Comfy and Drive Me Sane – title track of her 2019 debut album.
She teamed with Bill Chambers to launch Drive Me Sane at Townsville’s Bohle Barn in May 2019.
Tammy wrote eight of her album’s 11 tracks and featured a duet with Chambers
Moxon played guitar as her band plays instruments behind her, children played violin and a community danced to her song in her Drive Me Sane video.
“The park let us use different locations on their land to film four music videos over three days,’ Tammy revealed.
“The extras partying in the video were friends and family who just wanted to support my venture.”
“I see my music as alternative, and when this new album is released, I think people will see that,” Tammy revealed.

RILEY GREEN DAMN GOOD DAY TO LEAVE
Alabama outlaw Riley Green had a colourful career before choosing music as his passion.
Riley, now 35, was once a Quarterback on Jacksonville State University football team.
He was also a contestant on CMT reality show Redneck Island , is a turkey and deer hunter and has released two albums and six EPS.
Green is known for hunting deer and turkeys for supper on his hunting shows on Dirt Road TV after being a castaway on Redneck Island .
Riley also fishes in Ohatchee River , Orange Beach , Alabama , hunts turkey at his primitive camp in Arkansas and deer at his Back 40 Bash property.
Green cut a batch of EPS including Outlaws Like Us that featured Bury Me In Dixie – not the tiny town north of Terang on our Shipwreck Coast .
Green was born into songwriting and performing, spending days and nights with grandfather, Bufford Green.
“My Paw-Paw opened a music hall in 2003, where he’d always say music goes from The Bar Room to The Pulpit And Back each Friday Night,” Green revealed.
“My Granddaddy Buford taught me a love for old traditional country, bluegrass, and southern gospel music.”
Riley previously fronted our show with his videos for If It Wasn’t For Trucks from his third album Different Around Here , There Was This Girl on second album In A Truck Right Now and Bury Me In Dixie.
This week he performs his Damn Good Day To Leave video that follows his recent album Ain’t My Last Rodeo.

WIN WAYLON, GEORGE JONES AND MERLE HAGGARD

George, Waylon, Merle and Willie Nelson were among country historian Barbara Dowling’s favourite Texans.
The Waylon, Highwaymen , Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 80, and son Shooter, 44.
