The Wiggles showcase their humour as Nu Country TV headliners at 9 pm on Saturday March 29 on Channel 31/Digital 44.
Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, Texan George Strait, Faith Hill, Georgian Kip Moore and Cory Marks return to our show repeated at 3 am on Monday.
Camberwell singer-songwriter, former seaman and Nu Country TV member Pearse Coleman debuts on our program filmed and edited by Laith Graham.
Nu Country TV is a highlight of C 31 streaming list on Digital 44.

The Wiggles Joined By Dasha

The Wiggles strut their country humour with American star Dasha on new video Wiggle Up Giddy Up – their 77th album title track.
Dolly Parton, Lainey Wilson, Lucky Oceans, Troy Cassar-Daley, Orville Peck, Morgan Evans, Troy Cassar-Daley, MacKenzie Porter, Kaylee Bell, Travis Collins, Wolfe Brothers, Lucky Oceans and late Slim Dusty join them on their album released March 7.
“This is one of the most exciting projects we’ve ever been a part of, in fact, I’ve never spent so much time on an album before,” says Blue Wiggle Anthony Field – group co-founder.
“Country music is all about storytelling and connection. Combining that with The Wiggles’ fun and imagination and collaborations with these legendary country music artists felt like the perfect match. We can’t wait for families everywhere to hear these songs!”

The Wiggles debuted on our show in January with Big Red Ute celebrating 33 years of music and mirth.
Anthony Wiggle explained “Big Red Ute is a playful nod to our original Big Red Car but with a country rock twist that’s fun for children and parents alike.”
The Wiggles drove their Big Red Ute to Tamworth Country Music Festival where they performed on January 21 at Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre.
It was the first time The Wiggles performed in a unique venue usually reserved for Rodeos and Horse Cutting events.

Ringo Starr Look Up Now

Beatles legend Sir Ringo Starr, now 84, is on the road again promoting his embryonic love of country music.
Bluegrass belle Molly Tuttle joined him on his video Look Up Now – title track of his 77th album produced by T Bone Burnett and released on January 10.
The 11 original songs feature Allison Krauss, Billy Strings, Larkin Poe, Lucius, Molly Tuttle and others.
Nine songs on Look Up Now were written or co-written by Burnett, one by Billy Swan and the other co-written by Starr and Bruce Sugar.
Starr sang and played drums on all songs and co-wrote album closer Thankful.
Ringo wrote numerous country and country-tinged songs during his years with The Beatles – Act Naturally, What Goes On and Don’t Pass Me By with Rory Storm and The Hurricanes.
He recorded country disc Beaucoups of Blues in 1970 as his second solo album.
His love of country and blues led him to emigrate from London to Texas as a teen after reading Lightning Hopkins lived in Houston.

Pearse Coleman Vungtau Ferry

Camberwell Vietnam Navy veteran and Nu Country TV member Pearse Coleman debuts on our show with his Vungtau Ferry video.
Pearse joined our navy in 1969 as a youngster – his first posting was HMAS Sydney where he sailed the high seas into the Vietnam War.
He transported servicemen, stores, trucks and soldiers in support of our war effort in South Vietnam.
Pearse wrote his Vungtau Ferry tribute to those early days when returning servicemen and women were not welcomed home.
The song reflected his memories of service on HMAS Sydney during that bitter conflict.
Pearse lived in Cairns and Sydney after discharge and moved to Melbourne in 2008 where he works as a retail manager in the service industry.
He donated 350 copies of his Vungtau Ferry CD to National Vietnam veterans Museum on Phillip Island.

George Strait And Faith Hill Behind Bars

Legendary Texan singing actor George Strait and Mississippi born actor-singer Faith Hill return to Behind Bars with their latest video Let’s Fall To Pieces Together.
Strait, 68, has appeared in movies including The Soldier, Pure Country and Grand Champion.
George has his own brand of Tequila marketed under the name of Codigo that he launched on Nu Country TV and Gillette stadium – home of the New England Patriots.
He also fronted our show with Living For The Night.
Faith, singing spouse of fellow singing actor Tim McGraw, has also appeared in movies including Dixieland, Yellowstone, The Stepford Wives and 1883.
Faith, 57, and orphan mother of three daughters released 16 albums and toured here twice with McGraw.
Let’s Fall To Pieces Together follows Strait’s 45th album Cowboys & Dreamers.

Kip Moore Bad Spot

Georgian singer-songwriter and frequent Australian tourist Kip Moore boomerangs to Behind Bars on the eve of his 45th birthday on April 1.
But he proved he was no April fool in his soulful country music.
Moore, one of six children, performs his Bad Spot video from his 23 track sixth album Solitary Tracks he produced with Jaren Johnston and released February 28.
Kip played Rod Laver Arena on October 3, 2024, and joined Randy Houser on March 15, 2024, at Margaret Court Arena.
He fronted Nu Country with previous videos Beer Money, If I Was Your Lover, How High, Crazy One More Time, Fire On Wheels, In The Wild, Don’t Go Changing, More Girls Like You, Last Shot and Jani Blue.
Moore was a 2023 CMC Rocks Queensland festival headliner with Zac Brown Band, Morgan Wallen, Ashley McBryde, Randy Houser at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich.
Kip played 2018 CMC Rocks Queensland festival and Melbourne Forum with Lee Brice and Charlie Worsham after he debuted at Snowy Mountains country festival in Thredbo and CMC Rocks Queensland in 2016.

Cory Marks Sorry For Nothing

Canadian singer-songwriter and pilot Cory Marks wanted to be a jet fighter pilot as a young man at the Royal Military College of Canada.
Instead, he followed his music dream and toured Canada with artists including Gippsland escapee Gord Bamford.
Cory, 35, performs his third album title track video Sorry For Nothing on our show.
Cory was raised in North Bay Ontario and followed his music and toured Canada with artists including Gippsland escapee Gord Bamford.
He also fronted our show with Drunk When I’m High from his third album Sorry For Nothing, Outlaws And Outsiders with Georgian actor Travis Tritt and Better Off from his second album Who Am I.

George, Waylon, Merle and Willie Nelson were among country historian Barbara Dowling’s favourite Texans.
The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 81, and son Shooter, 45.
