Fellow Texan Wade Bowen and Kentuckian Gibson Wright boomerang to the show filmed and produced by Laith Graham and repeated Saturday at 2.30 am.
Tasmanian Claire Anne Taylor and Louisiana rodeo rider Ty Avery appear this week.

We also celebrate the life of former journalist, Playboy, Penthouse and People magazine editor, novelist and 1977 Australian Marijuana Party Senate Candidate J.J. McRoach who died at 75 on April 9.
The Polish born Piotro Peter Olszewski and his chauffeur known as Fast Bucks, also introduced voters to singing Texan crime novelist Kinky Friedman's music on his limo's sound system on election day.
Nu Country TV producer David Dawson and fellow journalist and latter day Nu Country treasurer Carol Taylor joined J.J on the campaign trail from Prahran's famed Station Hotel music venue and way beyond.
Clad in Plant A Dope In Canberra tee-shirts they visited diverse polling booths and sporting ovals on election day and J.J. promised two cricket teams he would decriminalize cricket and marijuana if they voted for him.
Instead he wrote books including A Dozen Dopey Yarns, A Salute to the Humble Yabby and Land of a Thousand Eyes.
Dawson and J.J. promoted The Kinkster's music on radio and TV long before he toured here.
It was fitting J.J and his electoral team finished their election day campaign by hosting a country music band's nocturnal gig in the middle eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Texan horse rancher and singer-songwriter Templeton Thompson is joined by some favourite equines and canines on her return to our show.
They included her late beloved Charlie as she sings and plays guitar in her scenic locale. Templeton was raised on a 100-acre horse stud and learned to play guitar left-handed at 16.
That was after almost losing two fingers trying to hitch a horse and followed eight operations on her left hand.
Thompson is an Equine-assisted therapist with a YouTube channel Life on Planet Cowgirl.
She said her mother rode horses while pregnant and "I came into this world horse crazy."
Templeton has written hits for Reba McEntire, Jo Dee Messina, Little Texas and expat Aussie singer-songwriter Sherrie Austin.
She previously fronted our show with fellow Texan Michael Martin Murphy on Ride a Wide Circle on Hippie Chic Cowgirl - her eighth album.
Thompson wed fellow musician-songwriting partner Sam Gay and in 2014 recorded one of their songs Bring it on Home, Chrome in honor of race-horse California Chrome.
A portion of profits went to the Thoroughbred retirement facility Old Friends Equine.
Templeton's horse Jane was immortalized as a Breyer Model Horse.
Her song Settle Down Cinderella is featured in the Dr. Doolittle 3 movie.
Another song Happy Yee-halidays is in Christmas movie Every Other Holiday.

JESS KELLIE ADAMS HIGH IN THE SADDLE
Fellow Texas born singer-songwriter Jess Kellie Adams is as comfortable on horseback as behind the wheel on the car racing circuit.
She was in the driver's seat on the racetrack and in her band in her vibrant video Hold On To Me when she took the reins to the finishing line in a romantic relationship.
The singer, who was raised in Ohio, was thrown out of a bar at 15 when she sang karaoke with her mum.
My whole life I've questioned who I am, Jess revealed.
It took seven years in Nashville for me to truly come into my own. My formula is different. My experiences are the foundation of who I am as a person and an artist. What makes me different is what makes my journey magical.
Hold On To Me is one of seven songs on her debut EP.

GIBSON WRIGHT BOURBON AND BAPTISTS

Kentucky singer-songwriter Gibson Wright also hails from a family of horse-riding country singers.
His dad is singer-songwriter Mark Wright and his grandpa was a church organist.
He graduated from uni and performed in Italian, French and German operas.
Gibson was an MBA project manager before chasing his music dreams.
He also has his own line of Bourbon - Speak Wright Up.
Wright recalls his earliest memories from childhood sitting in the pews of Beechridge Baptist Church in Bagdad and listening to his dad sing and his grandmother play.
"I have done a lot of studying in music and I understand cognitively you develop a brain for it at a young age," Gibson revealed.
"Whether or not you can actually match pitch and do all that stuff. Before you can conceptualize what is happening, you innately learn how to match pitch and get into it. For me that is where it started."

TY AVERY RIDES FROM LOUISIANA TO HOLLYWOOD
Louisiana hip hop rap and country singer Ty Avery graduatd from singing in church to honkytonks with female dancers.
Ty describes his music as Southern-fried boot-clicking booty shaking jam that'll get you on the dance floor.
Avery filmed his Rodeo video with actress/model Dominique Monroe in Los Angeles , Malibu and Hollywood .
The song was written by producer Andrew De Lucia and songwriter Mary Haller.
I feel that by venturing into country music, it adds to my storytelling presentation, Ty revealed.
I heavily admire the art of country music for that ability to put you in the center of an experience, memory, etc. I don't think any genre does it like country.

West Texan Wade Bowen was raised in Waco and released discs with fellow Texan Randy Rogers.
Wade, now 47, has good reasons for his enduring love of his horses, trucks and a bucolic belle in his latest video Loving Not Leaving.
She waited for him to deliver.
The Texas Tech University graduate previously fronted our show with Death, Dying & Devilled Eggs, Day Of The Dead, Who I Am, Say Anything and When I Woke Up Today and duets with Rogers for Standards, Rodeo Clown and Rhinestoned on their joint album Hold My Beer, Volume 1.

The Waylon, Highwaymen , Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon's birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 80, and son Shooter, 44.
