Further info - https://www.c31.org.au/ LAINEY AUSTRALIAN TOUR ENTREE Louisiana born singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson returns to Nu Country on the eve of her debut Australian tour after winning a Grammy for her fourth album Bell Bottom Country and five CMA awards. Lainey, 31, plays Margaret Court arena on March 20 and 21 and is a headliner of CMC Rocks Queensland in Ipswich. She performs her Wildflowers & Wild Horses video this week from Bell Bottom Country. “I am from a farming community in NE Louisiana, a little town of 200 people,” Lainey revealed at the Grammys. “I'm a fifth-generation farmer's daughter and I would consider myself a farmer too. And everybody that I surround myself with, I think they are farmers too. They're story farmers. It's about getting up every single day and planting those seeds and watering them and watching them grow. And sometimes, when you find the right farming community, you can have a harvest of a lifetime. I truly believe that. I think that is exactly what this is tonight. Further info - https://www.instagram.com/autumnbrookemusicc/?hl=en TIM RAYBON HONOURS KENTUCKY Kentucky bluegrass icon Tim Raybon returns to Behind Bars with his homage to home state Beautiful Kentucky. “Although it's an uptempo song, I hope the emotion of never wanting to be away from the one you love comes through loud and clear.” Tim, 60, and sibling Marty began as the Raybon Brothers after playing in Florida in their dad's American Bluegrass Express. Tim and Marty also fronted in the Merle Monroe band. Marty was lead singer of Shenandoah, having left in 1997, before rejoining in 2014. The Raybon Brothers charted in 1997 with a cover of Bob Carlisle's pop hit Butterfly Kisses. Their version was a top 40 hit on both the Billboard country music charts and Billboard Hot 100. She was joined by a cool bluegrass band in the trees and candle-lit terrace in her new video Good Morning Moon. Kristy, now 38, and singing spouse Travis List have lived in Nashville for more than a decade. Good Morning Moon - penned by Laura Leigh Jones and Jerry Salley - is on her eighth album Shades Of Blue on Billy Blue records. Kristy paid homage to unsung health heroes on the front line in her previous Nu Country video Person Of The Year - also on Shades of Blue. Kristy and Travis, who hails from One Tree Hill in Adelaide Hills, appeared on our show with a duet video for I've Got One Of Those, Too filmed in a Nashville bar for Travis's fourth solo album This Corner. Cox won the inaugural 2015 bluegrass Golden Guitar for One Heartbreak Away from her album Living For The Moment on North Carolina bluegrass label Pisgah Ridge at 43rd Australian Country Music Awards in 2015. “Travis and I have known each other since I was eleven years old,” Kristy revealed in 2016. “We grew up in the same South Australian country music community. He went to Nashville nine years ago and I moved over a couple of years ago.” Travis first performed on stage aged seven with the family band and later with his sister for five years. Kristy became a US citizen in October, 2021. She and Travis have two young children whose names honour original and new hometowns - son Ryman and daughter Adelaide. When Kristy is not writing, recording and performing she is Nashville 's favourite barista with her mobile Australian coffee van. Singer Sara Grace, now 24, led her sister Molly, 21, and brother Lachlan, 23, into a historic bar after they debuted in Tamworth in 2011as pre-teens. They filmed their new video Too Fast at the old Northern Rivers Billinudge Hotel. It was where their drummer dad Mick of Radiators fame once had a piano residency. Too Fast is on their second album Take It As It Comes that follows their 2018 debut album Daydream. The trio debuted on Nu Country with their Run video in 2017 after they honed their writing, musical and vocal skills since busking live as pre-teen tots on Peel Street, Tamworth , in 2011. That video, replete with refugees from a teddy bears picnic of sorts, was shot on the NSW Central Coast . The trio signed an international record deal with Aussie indie label Golden Robot Records after touring the U.S. in 2016. They played Bluebird Café and Music City Roots Festival in Nashville and performed with artists diverse as Jim Lauderdale and Bill Chambers. The trio also wrote with prolific hit writers in Nashville including Grammy nominated Rafe Van Hoy, Jim Photoglo and Debby Throckmorton. Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon's birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas. Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 80, and son Shooter, 44.
