She was accompanied by her horses Jane and Beau at Frog Pond in Tennessee. Templeton wrote Get Back Up with her singing spouse Sam Gay as the title track of her 10th album. She featured her late equine Charlie in previous Nu Country video Home and with fellow Texan Michael Martin Murphy on Ride a Wide Circle on Hippie Chic Cowgirl - her eighth album. The singer was raised on a 100-acre horse stud and learned to play guitar left-handed at 16. That was after almost losing two fingers trying to hitch a horse and followed eight operations on her left hand. Thompson is an Equine-assisted therapist with a YouTube channel Life on Planet Cowgirl. She said her mother rode horses while pregnant and "I came into this world horse crazy." Templeton has written hits for Reba McEntire, Jo Dee Messina, Little Texas and expat Aussie singer-songwriter Sherrie Austin. Thompson wed fellow musician-songwriting partner Sam Gay and in 2014 recorded one of their songs Bring it on Home, Chrome in honor of race-horse California Chrome. A portion of profits went to the Thoroughbred retirement facility Old Friends Equine. Templeton's horse Jane was immortalized as a Breyer Model Horse. Her song Settle Down Cinderella is featured in the Dr. Doolittle 3 movie. Another song Happy Yee-halidays is in Christmas movie Every Other Holiday. Jurd escaped from the Brown Muir Cottage to pastures of plenty in the Hunter Valley in his tribute to social progress, equality and freedom. He referenced Martin Luther King activism, women's lib and our resilience in world wars in Freedom Rings - his sixth single. “This song is deeply personal to me, Jurd revealed. “It's a reminder of how far we've come as a society and a call to action to keep pushing for positive change. I wanted to capture the essence of historical events and translate them into a contemporary narrative that resonates with audiences today.” “I'm incredibly proud of this song. I think it's the best song I've written, lyrically, so I'm hoping people can listen to the lyrics and understand that these events I sing about are not so far in the past, and yet we have come so far in a fairly short space of time.” Jurd produced the song with Jared Adlam on the Gold Coast and filmed the video with Jeremy Minett in Hunter Valley . Aaron graduated CMAA Academy , performed at 2018 opening concert of the Tamworth Country Music Festival and Golden Guitar Awards with Luke O'Shea. He has also written songs with award-winning artists Gina Jeffreys and Allan Caswell. This week he hits the road and river with his blonde belle and beloved canine in Catch Myself - second single on his debut album Free Country. The dreamlike video was shot on two ranches in West County, California and features his 1991 Ford F-250 pickup truck, named Lariat, and two friends living out the story of the guy seeing his girl appear everywhere he looks, after she's gone. “Catch Myself is about that jolt that happens when reality intrudes on our memories,” James revealed. “I believe a song has a mind of its own. I'd like to think, in our own way, we're putting some Western into the Country”. Alias writes and records in an old barn using vintage instruments and amps through tube-driven preamps salvaged from old Ampex tape recorders. His band features pedal steel guitarist Dave Zirbel, bassist JP McLean and drummer Ezra Lipp. Further info - https://aliasjames.com/ SOUL CIRCUS COWBOYS Florida band Soul Circus Cowboys make their Nu Country TV debut this week.
