MIRANDA AND LEON BUILD BRIDGES IN SONG

Texan Miranda Lambert and Leon Bridges join forces on stages and pool tables in their headlining return to our show.

Miranda, 39, has 10 solo albums including Grammy nominated Palomino and four with the Pistol Annies.

Grammy winning Georgian born Bridges is 34 and lives in Fort Worth, Texas, and recorded his fourth album for Columbia Records.

They exude joy in Jon Randall produced If You Were Mine video that celebrates objects of their affection from a distance, contemplating how they would cherish and treasure their beloved if fate ever granted them opportunities.

"I have been a big fan of Leon for a while because he is very authentic as an artist, and I love his music. I wrote this song with Ashley Monroe and Jesse Frasure, specifically with Leon in mind," Lambert revealed.

"Since we are both from Texas we threw in a few Texas references, of course - the Frio River being one. When we finished this song we sent it to Leon in hopes that he would want to collaborate and we were so glad that he said yes. I have really enjoyed getting to know him and I'm happy to have him as a new friend."

Bridges added - "I was humbled to have Miranda ask if I'd join her on this beautiful duet she wrote. Getting in the studio with her in Nashville to sing this song together was magic. There's nothing better than two Texans on one mic."

Miranda is also promoting her new Gibson Miranda Lambert Bluebird guitar, book Y'all Eat Yet ? weaving in food and her story and Idyllwind Velvet Rodeo fragrance as part of Idyllwind at Boot Barn stores.

DYLAN JARVIS MOUNTS A WHITE HORSE

Memphis minstrel and ordained minister Dylan Jarvis revived his music career after dope addiction landed him in gaol.

Jarvis found God and boomeranged to music by writing songs in his cell, attending bible school and becoming an ordained minister.

It enabled him to act out his inspired video for losers in life and love in new video White Horse (the Forgotten ) that follows his debut single Burn Free.

“ White Horse is about not forgetting the people who are struggling most - whether that be a homeless man, a soldier, or the tent city kid,” Dylan revealed.

“You never know what people are capable of and it's usually the people you least expect that can accomplish the greatest things. As the song says, ‘The tent city kid could become president while the debutante sells the dope.'

“My music is a guide into my heart and soul and represents how one can find himself and follow his heart to redemption and success.

My commitment today is not only to focus on being sober but to use my music to help others. Music is one of the most powerful things in the world. Everything that you're hearing through my music, I've lived it. I want people to walk away knowing that they can be free, and I want them to feel the freedom through the music which I think they will. I found the freedom in it and I believe that other people will too.”

Dylan's fellow inmates nicknamed him “ Songbird ” which he now displays in tattoo ink on his knuckles.

DARYL MOSLEY ENJOYS A MAYBERRY STATE OF MIND

Veteran Tennessean singer-songwriter Daryl Mosley develops a Mayberry state of mind in his return to Behind Bars on our show.

Mosley struts his stuff with some front porch picking and fishing on the Duck River and enjoys treats from a milk-shakery and cake shop.

It happens on strolls through his hometown Waverley on the eve of his 59th birthday this month.

Milkshakes and memories fill Mayberry State Of Mind with sweetness that reflects on the simple pleasures in life.

Images of Daryl working mandatory overtime kick off his video which quickly transitions to scenes of Main Street strolls, chats with fellow locals and a walk along riverbank.

The video is deliberately low-key with zero flash, no special effects to jar the small-town vibe. The slower pace works well to focus the viewer's attention and encourage an appreciation of that Mayberry state of mind when everyone knew their neighbours and cared for their wellbeing.

Mosley's hometown Waverly is still that kind of place.

“It was such an honour to film the video here,” Daryl revealed.

“It's my own little Mayberry and I love sharing it with the world. It's all real - the shops, the people, that huge milkshake - 100% and I wish more folks could come and see it. Really special to me are the scenes along the Duck River that's where my dad and I used to go fish. Ours is a community in every sense of the word, and it shows.”

Mosley began his career when he sang with the Farm Hands, Osborne Brothers and New Tradition bands.

Mayberry State Of Mind is on his third solo album A Life Well Lived.
