Alex, now 31, grew up listening to the late Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard and young Willie Nelson, now 89. Williams left Indiana to play in his cousin's shrimper bar on the Gulf Coast of Texas. It's apt he and his band ignited his song No Reservations live at the Waylon bar in Marion, Indiana. They were joined by dancers and Outlaw motorcyclists on Harleys and pool tables. No Reservations is on second album Waging Peace on Lightning Rod Records released in October . It follows his 2017 debut album Better Than Myself on Big Machine records. Alex previously fronted Nu Country with his Tattoo, Pay No Mind, Little Too Stoned and Forth Worth Blues videos. Valerie paid tribute to family and friends in El Paso. She joined her grandma at the church where her nanna wed her grandpa. Valerie sang loud and proud on her west Texas lost highway and delved into her childhood before her debut on The Voice TV show. "I feel really excited to share this part of my border town story and I'm even more excited to hear all the connections I'm already making with people who feel that same hometown pride and sentiment about where they're from." Mine host served joy, coffee and hugs for her customers at the former Masonic Hall. The Darling Downs born Hunter Valley singer wrote Maryanne The Optimist with Kevin Bennett. “Maryanne isn't a real character but she exists and is that special woman you turn to in tough times and moments of crisis when a wise word and warm hug are what's required” Lyn, now 45, revealed. “ Maryanne The Optimist is about person who is a mentor, a friend, a sister, a mother and happens to run a cafe serving her customers wisdom and kindness with every hot beverage. Writing this song with Kevin Bennett was a joy. It's always exciting, taking an idea and bringing it to life with a co-writer like KB. I'd had the idea for many years, but I was waiting for the right time to finish it, and COVID lockdown in 2020 proved to be just that time. “The music video was filmed at my local cafe, The Holy Cuppa , Greta by Duncan Toombs from The Filmery. “It features Gabi Blisset who played fiddle on the track and Nanny Neve as she's affectionately known as the barista. “Lynneve is our little village's very own Maryanne The Optimist . AMERICAN AQUARIUM RADIO ROAD TRIP North Carolina band American Aquarium honour a life-saving station built in 1874 on their Nu Country return. Lead singer BJ Barham wrote All I Needed for their ninth album Chicamacomico on June 10 via Losing Side Records/Thirty Tigers. It was produced by Brad Cook at Sonic Ranch studio in Texas. This follows their 2020 album Lamentations that took its name from the life-saving station on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Barham recently lost his mother and grandmother that inspired salvation in All I Needed , replete with pedal steel, soaring melody, and Barham's lived-in lyrics. Chicamacomico feature co-writes with Grammy-winner Lori McKenna, Texan Hayes Carll and others. The Red Dirt singer sang of pain of hearing lost love songs on the radio but he couldn't ease his sorrow with cigarettes and alcohol. He worked for six years as a DJ-producer on Cumulus Radio in Dallas-Fort Worth and is now a guitarist-singer in The Revolvers, Jarrett James Band, and Taylor Walker Band. Whiskey Don't Burn Anymore is the latest single from the artist who is not related to Adelaide Crows full forward Taylor Walker. Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon's birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas. Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 79, and son Shooter, 43.
