Californian singer-songwriter Jon Pardi headlines our Nu Country TV 53 rd series premiere on Wednesday September 7 at 8 pm with a powerful maternal memory.
Texan outlaws Creed Fisher and Dallas Moore boomerang to the show repeated Tuesday at 8 am and Saturdays - 11.30 pm.
Japan born former Oklahoma seaman Zach Bryan debuts on the program filmed and edited by our multi-talented lockdown producer-host Laith Graham.
Novocastrian singer-songwriter Matt Scullion returns and South Australian band The Austins debut.
Nu Country TV is a highlight of C 31 streaming list on Digital 44.

Californian Jon Pardi is no stranger to stardom.
Pardi, now 37, proposed to his wife Summer Duncan on stage at the hallowed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
He played Melbourne Forum when he toured here in April and May in 2019 with fellow star Brett Eldredge who hails from Paris, Illinois.
This week he enjoys high living in his limo in a singalong video en route to casinos for Last Night Lonely from his fourth album Mr Saturday Night released on September 2.
Pardi also fronted Nu Country TV with his Ain't It Always The Cowboy video from his third album Heartache Medication and Thomas Rhett on Beer Can't Fix from Rhett's fourth album Centrepoint Road .
Pardi borrowed imagery from the Hud movie to drive his message for his She Ain't In It video from his second album California released in 2016.

TEXAN CREED FISHER PRAISES EAR PLUGS AND BEER

West Texan Creed Fisher shows viewers how to enjoy drinking while keeping the peace with his wife in his Nu Country TV return.
Creed, now 49, also takes advice from his grandpa as he drives his ride-on mower, works on his pick-up truck, plays ball with his dog Hankles and sings.
Fisher hails from Odessa and showcases how he enjoys his 20 years of marital bliss with his bucolic blonde belle in their rural retreat in his Earplugs and Beer video from his fifth album Rebel In The South.
Creed previously appeared on Nu Country with a live video at Riley's Tavern , New Braunfels - one of the oldest honkytonks in Texas - for High On The Bottle from his fourth album Whiskey & The Dog .
Fisher also fronted Nu Country with People Like Me, This Town, Life Of A Working Man, Hankles and Jesus, Haggard & Jones.
Creed describes his music as “a rollercoaster of emotions; laughs, cheers with drinks and songs that will make you want to cry. I hope fans walk away knowing that I'm still in the trenches fighting this battle for real country music. We haven't lost a step; if anything, this album is stronger than ever and shows that Creed Fisher is a force to be reckoned with in Outlaw Country Music."

ZACH BRYAN PREFERS SOMETHING ORANGE - NOT A TRUMP WIG

Zach Bryan was born in Japan while his father was serving overseas in the American navy.
The latter day Oklahoma singer followed his dad by spending eight years in the Navy.
Bryan, now 26, entertained fellow seamen before taking up music full time after fame with debut video Heading South filmed by phone in 95-degree heat outside his Navy barracks.
He followed with 2019 debut album DeAnn and 2020 disc Elisabeth.
DeAnn, dedicated to his late mother and Elisabeth - an ode to those he loves - resonated with fans and accelerated his honorable Navy discharge in 2021.
“I wanted to be a writer,” Bryan revealed.
“I'm writing every morning when I wake up. Every night when I go to sleep, I write because it's just like how I deal with life. Just like people watch sports, just like people go golf, it's just something that comes naturally to me. It is beautiful to find that and get to do that, but I'd say that first 100 songs were terrible because I was just trying to figure out how to make poems and things that I've written into work that people could connect with through melodies.”
Bryan also uses songwriting as therapy.
“I'd say true love rips your heart out and puts it back together all in the same sentence or song,” Bryan explained. “Here's an album I wrote with pain, laughter, humility, love and honesty. I didn't call it American Heartbreak after a tacky love story, but because we all face trials every day and put ourselves back together every single time regardless. Whether in relationships or jobs, our families, our dreams or our let downs, I just wrote the whole thing praying someone just might relate to a story or two.”
Bryan showcases that ideal in his Something In Orange video from his 34 song third album American Heartbreak.

Ohio born latter day Texan Dallas Moore returns to Nu Country after mourning Chuck Morpugo - his guitarist of 27 years - who died at 58 in November last year after playing the Quarantine Sessions.
Moore performs Every Night I Burn Another Honky-Tonk Down live from 11th album The Rain produced by Dean Miller - son of late Rodger Miller
Moore previously celebrated a vagrant preacher - played by actor, comedian and MC Jack Schitt - in his Blue Jean Jesus video.
Moore also fronted Nu Country in his Everything But You - second single from his 10th album Trying To Be A Blessing.

MATT SCULLION FROM NEWCASTLE TO NASHVILLE

Prolific Australian hit writer and Novocastrian Matt Scullion honours another Australian hero in his Nu Country TV return.
Scullion's unsung hero - coal miner Harry Littlefair killed in World War 1 - hailed from Neath near Cessnock in the Hunter Valley.
Matt eulogised Harry in The Legend Of The Lamp - his sixth album title track.
Scullion also fronted our show with 1868 about our first indigenous cricket team to win fame overseas.
He vividly depicted how 13 pioneer unsung heroes from Harrow in western Victoria played 47 matches against UK teams from May to October in 1868 including famed Lords oval.
Matt hails from Ulladulla on NSW south coast and appeared in Paul Hogan-Shane Jacobsen movie Charlie & Boots that featured his song Giddy Up from his album Put It Down To Experience .

THE AUSTINS BACK ROAD BUS STOP

The Austins - Kaniva born Rohan and Adelaide belle Candice - debut on Nu Country with a true love tale written with David Carter of Carter & Carter.
Back Road Bus Stop is their take on a classic long-distance relationship.
"I was on the farm in Kaniva , Victoria , and Candice was in Adelaide , South Australia ,” Rohan revealed.
“Most of the time I would drive and stay in Adelaide or pick Candice up and drive back to the farm for the weekend. One such weekend I could not take Candice back to Adelaide on the Sunday night so she caught the bus from Bordertown. Waiting for the bus to leave was agony knowing that we were so close to each other yet so far apart. Candice vowed never to catch the bus back to Adelaide again."
Rohan is now the local policeman at Keith in South Australia and played music since starting first band Outrage in high school as a drummer and singer.
Candice and Rohan had been together nearly 20 years after Rohan's love for playing in his pub band enticed her to join him.
Candice and twin sister Nadinne released two albums including Breaking It Down recorded in Nashville with expat Australian and former Saltbush pedal steel guitarist Mark Moffatt in 2009.
“Balancing our working lives with our young family and our music can be challenging at times, especially as Rohan is the only policeman in our town,” Candice explained.
“Working as a duo makes it so much easier; we realised that performing together we could really make it work. We can write songs with the kids on our knees, between work shifts if we have to. It's a great way to make all our dreams work in together.”

The Waylon, Highwaymen , Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon's birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas .
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 79, and son Shooter, 43.
