LAUDERDALE A GAME CHANGER

North Carolina Presbyterian minister's son Jim Lauderdale evokes a call from way above in his intro to his Nu Country TV return.

Dual Grammy winner Jim, now 65, was a prolific Australian tourist before the pandemic.

Lauderdale's many concerts here included the sixth Out On The Weekend festival in Williamstown in 2019.

He appeared with bluegrass belle Molly Tuttle, Felice Brothers, Pokey LaFarge, Johnny Fritz and Josh Hedley, Sierra Ferrell, country rock veteran Brian Cadd and New Zealand export Tami Neilson at the Williamstown Seaworks.

Jim toured nationally with western Sydney singer-songwriter Imogen Clark who also returns to our show this week.

He performs his video for That Kind Of Life, That Kind Of Day from his 35th album Game Changer that he produced at the Nashville Blackbird studio.

IMOGEN CLARK NONCHALANT

Young Western Sydney belle Imogen Clark played the Yarra Park country festival with Casey Barnes on her latest Victorian tour.

But she didn't spit the dummy outside the MCG like she did when she roamed car parks in her new video to erase memories of her banished beau.

Blue Mountains born Imogen also drowned her sorrows in a Byron Bay brewery.

Clark , now 27, produced her Nonchalant video with her manager Jeremy Dylan - son of the late Rob Potts and a video director for Lauderdale.

Nonchalant follows her three albums and a recent six song Bastards EP.
