North Carolina singer-songwriter Eric Church headlines Nu Country TV on Saturday April 9 at 9.30 pm.
Texan Hayes Carll and New Jersey band The Delevantes return to the show repeated Wednesdays at 11.30 pm.
Williamstown duo The Long And Short Of It boomerang to program filmed and edited by our multi-talented lockdown producer-host Laith Graham.
Nashville singer-songwriter Erin Rae and New Zealand artist Jesse Wilde debut this week.

ERIC LEADS CHURCH CHOIR

North Carolina superstar Eric Church, 44, is backed by his Church choir in his return.
They include duet vocalist Johanna Cotton - frequent tour and video guest.
The choir ignited Heart On Fire from Eric's 10th album - triple disc Heart And Soul released last year.
Church followed his 2020 CMA entertainer of year award performing the national anthem with Jazmine Sullivan at the Super Bowl game in Florida.
Texan country singer Mickey Guyton performed the anthem this year.
Eric filmed a flood of home studio videos with his Church Choir during iso.
“They came out of my 28 days in the mountains of North Carolina where the songs were recorded and written. The collection is entitled Heart & Soul ,” Church revealed.
Eric's 24-song collection features major songwriters in marathon writing and recording sessions.
“I've always been intrigued when a song is born in a writer room - there is a magic that happens there,” Church explained.
“I wanted to put that in the studio form. So every day we would write a song in the morning and we would record the song that night. Doing it that way allowed for the songwriters to get involved in the studio process and the musicians to be involved in the creative process. You felt a little bit like you were secretly doing something that was special, and you knew it.”

Texan Hayes Carll returns with a humorous animated Christmas saga where God was busted for having a joint when she met a stranger.
She lost her wings but was freed after serving her sentence in his Nice Things video.
Hayes, 46, wed his goddess - Alabama born singer Allison Moorer, now 49 and one of fellow Texan Steve Earle's six ex-wives.
She wrote A Soft Place To Fall for Robert Redford's The Horse Whisperer and was nominated for Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1999.
Moorer performed the Oscars and made ten albums with songs cut by Trisha Yearwood, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Earle and Carll.
Carll returns 10 years after his 2012 Northcote Social Club concert with Hunter Valley belle Kirsty Lee Akers.
Nice Things is on Carll's seventh album You Got It All with previous video Help Me Remember released on October 29 raising funds for Alzeimers research.
Hayes appeared on Nu Country with social comment video Times Like These and KMAG YOYO - title track of his fourth album.
Carll once sold vacuum cleaners and was inspiration for singer Beau Hutton played by Garrett Hedlund in Tim McGraw-Gwyneth Paltrow movie Country Strong.
He performed two Carll songs - Hard Out Here and Hide Me Babe - and Hayes sang Take Me Away.
Carll lives in Austin with Moorer and son Elijah - now 14 - who starred in The Magic Kid video from his fifth album Lovers And Leavers.

DELEVANTES TAKE A THOUSAND TURNS

The Delevantes - brothers Bob & Mike - take viewers on a long journey in their return.
It began in Hoboken in New Jersey in 1988 before they headed south to Nashville in 1992.
They took a decade long hiatus when Bob cut three solo albums - Porchlight (1999), Columbus and the Colossal Mistake (2007) and Valley of Days (2016).
He also launched a design photography studio that included John Prine's Grammy award-winning final album The Tree of Forgiveness (2018).
Little By Little is on their third duet album A Thousand Turns - first in 20 years since Post Cards Along The Way followed debut disc Long About That Time.
They produced it with E Street Band co-founder Garry Tallent and Dave Coleman.
The Delevantes showcased Americana with Lucinda Williams, Wilco, Son Volt, Jayhawks and Whiskeytown and shared stages with John Prine, Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Levon Helm and many major artists.

Williamstown duo The Long And Short Of It vividly depict the plight of children of domestic violence in their live return in their studio.
Patsy Toop - a lawyer - and Yarraville singer-signwriter David Baird are well qualified to sing of suffering of victims.
Their video She Runs follows Just Give It All You Got from their sixth album - The Night Of Our Life - out in 2016.
They sourced Biblical song Jesus Money from a homeless woman in an alley near a Nashville recording studio where they recorded.
Dave and Patsy - mother of four children and award winning lawyer - teamed up after meeting eight years ago at a music charity function.
They won best duo at Tasmanian independent music awards and Southern Star Awards in Mildura.
Patsy was inducted onto Victorian Honour Roll of Women in recognition of her trailblazing litigation work and volunteering.
She was honoured for 34 years' legal work representing workers' human rights in cases of asbestos-related and chemical-induced illnesses and was founding board member and passionate volunteer for the Seaworks Foundation's restoration and preservation of Williamstown's maritime precinct.

Nashville singer-songwriter Erin Rae celebrates diverse females in debut video Modern Woman from her fourth album Lighten Up released on February 4 on Thirty Tigers/Cooking Vinyl.
The video features musicians Brittany Howard, Tristen, Kelsey Waldon and Nashville rising star creative business owners.
“Modern Woman merges gentle pedal steel with a bouncy rhythm and finds Rae discarding gender stereotypes with conviction,” Rolling Stone magazine reported.
“Leading up to making the record I was incredibly into Bobbie Gentry's records, her upfront vocal and beautiful classic instrumentation with some of the more cinematic recordings of Scott Walker,” Erin revealed.
“I wanted it to feel like me. Jonathan Wilson and I had shared songs back and forth leading up to it, and for the most part I wanted to remain open to what would arise once we got in the room together.”
Erin promoted her album on an Australian tour with Courtney Marie Andrews.
It features Candy & Curry - a psychedelic, meditative track.
“I was living in my friend Taylor's beautiful, rustic cabin in Madison and we were just cooking and hanging with the animals and going for lots of walks,” she explained.
“Especially then, with touring off the table, there was no choice really but to slow down and reflect.”

JESSE WILDE HONEY HEADING SOUTH

Jesse Wilde is versatile on debut in his Auckland home studio.
His romantic interest was on the road but he charted her journey in Honey Heading South written with Ian Rich for sixth album Songbroker Heading South.
Wilde, 37, wrote many songs on American and Europe tours and fronts Jesse Wilde Band and The Wilde Storey group.
He landed Blood Is - Love Song For Sam - in popular Brokenwood Mysteries TV series on TV in Australia.
Jesse wrote Ghost Town Road with Rick Beresford - gold record songwriter for George Jones hit If Drinking Doesn't Kill Me Her Memory Will.

The Waylon, Highwaymen , Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon's birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 78, and son Shooter, 42.
