Geelong born prolific Golden Guitarist Adam Harvey headlines Nu Country TV on Saturday November 20 at 9.30 pm.
Tennessean stars Kenny Chesney and Kelsea Ballerini return to the show hosted by our multi-talented lockdown host-producer-editor Laith Graham.
North Carolina nouveau outlaw Luke Combs and bluegrass band Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver perform live in Behind Bars on the program repeated Wednesday at 11.30 pm.
Melbourne singer-songwriter Rich Webb and Michigan born Gavin Lee boomerang this week.

ADAM HARVEY HOMAGE TO HIS DAD

Adam Harvey headlines the show with his homage to his late dad Les.
Harvey performs his evocative epilogue about how Les met his mum Roz at Lindeman Island in the Whitsundays.
That love story took Les and Roz to Geelong where Adam, now 46, was born.
Adam filmed his video near Mackay where he wrote the song with Queenslander Graeme Connors.
“I actually went up to Mackay to write a song with Graeme about my dad,” Adam explained of the song in Connors' hometown.
“Dad spent a lot of time in Mackay. Until the day he died he always said it was his favourite place. I've always wanted to write the song and I think for me it's probably, personally, one of the most special songs, because it's all about dad.”
Les later travelled south to Melbourne and Geelong with Roz where they worked long hours to support their family.
Lindeman Again is on the prolific Golden Guitarist and chart topper's 16th album Songs From Highway One.
Adam wrote all songs except Merle Haggard classic Ramblin' Fever he performs with Corryong born fellow star Lee Kernaghan.

KNOXVILLE KELSEA AND KENNY HOMETOWN HIT

Tennessean stars Kenny Chesney and Kelsea Ballerini revisit their Knoxville roots in their new CMA Award winning duet video.
Kelsea, now 28, was born in Mascot and went to high school in nearby Knoxville.
Fellow Knoxville native Kenny Chesney, 53, joined her on stage in her Half Of My Hometown video from her fourth album Ballerini.
They sang of their peers leaving their hometowns.
First-time CMA Award winner Kelsea and nine-time CMA winner Kenny won two trophies for Half Of My Hometown on November 10.
Produced by Ballerini, Ross Copperman and Jimmy Robbins and directed by Patrick Tracy the collaboration won CMA Musical Event and Music Video of Year.
In 2017 Kelsea married expatriate Novocastrian Morgan Evans in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
And on May 9, 2005, Chesney wed actress Renée Zellweger in a ceremony on the island of St. John.
They met in January at a tsunami relief event but on September 15 after only four months of marriage they announced annulment.
Since 2012 Chesney has dated Mary Nolan who attended award shows with him.

RICH WEBB LIVE IN THE SUBURBS

Fellow Victorian singer-songwriter Rich Webb returns this week with a trip around streets of Melbourne between lockdowns in March.
Webb becomes a pied piper as he takes viewers down alleys with a young saxophonist - his son Henry - in new video If You Were To Go.
“On the sax side Henry played the part in the video and learnt the solo for the song, but the original part was played by my brother Jon Webb who is overseas in London and couldn't be in the video,” Rich revealed.
“So Henry stepped up and knocked it out, but either way, it was a family affair.”
Also in the video are Richard's other son Alfred and wife Emma.
It was produced by Matthew Lawes-Wickwar and filmed by Louis C Brandt.
Rich also visited a bar with a difference - Fitzroy North Milk Bar - A Continental Affair with mine host Vince Alviano.
He performs at Head Gap studio in Preston with band including T-Bones guitarist Charlie Wilde, Jim Carden, Hugh Martin and Rod Berglund.
If You Were To Go was on his 1998 album The Girl Who Laughed Too Much that was remastered and re-released in 2019.
It precedes his sixth album recorded between lockdowns that features 12 originals including new single Love Someone produced and mixed by Rohan Sforcina.
Rich was born near Glasgow , grew up in England 's Scunthorpe with pit-stops in Sheffield and London before landing in Melbourne .
Webb's band previously appeared on Nu Country in 2014 with their equestrian metaphor in an old style gambling den on their Stray Horse Canyon video.

GAVIN LEE AMERICAN CRAZY

Michigan born Gavin Lee was raised in Florida before he pursued his music in dreams to Nashville after losing a girlfriend to suicide.
“She was my inspiration of going to Nashville and doing the things I'm doing now," Lee revealed.
"I was a laid-off welder and she said, 'why don't you try this?' and fell in love with it. I just wish she could have been here in person form to see it happen.”
Lee, 29, also wrote a song about his stepfather who died of leukemia in 2018.
This week he fronts Nu Country with fifth single American Crazy that he wrote in lockdown with expatriate Australian Sherrie Austin and Louisiana born Will Rambeaux.
Lee's singles include Gone Fishing' Dixie Dreaming, Only Show Me You and Millionaire in Mexico with part of that video filmed in Fort Myers Beach.

DOYLE LAWSON AND QUICKSILVER

Tennessean Doyle Lawson and his bluegrass band Quicksilver perform live in Behind Bars.
Doyle, 77, was born in Sullivan County, Tennessee, and his bands have released more than 40 albums since 1963.
This week they perform LOA on Country Road TV at Larry's Country diner in Nashville.

North Carolina nouveau outlaw Luke Combs returns to Behind Bars with a live preview from his third album.
Luke, 31, wrote See Me Now with Ray Fulcher for his new album that follows two huge selling deluxe discs that broke major sales records.
Combs sings of paternal history repeating in his powerful prophecy paean.
Luke toured here in 2019 with Ashley McBryde and played St Kilda Palais.
Many of his songs are inspired by his wife Nicole whom he married in Florida on August 1, 2020.
Combs made history as first artist to have their first two studio albums spend 25 weeks or more at #1 on Billboard Country Albums chart, breaking Taylor Swift's previously record at 24 weeks.
He recorded Let's Just Be Friends for The Angry Birds Movie 2.
Luke was 29 when inducted into Grand Ole Opry on June 11, 2019, by fellow stars Craig Morgan, Chris Janson and John Conlee.

George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson were among country historian Barbara Dowling's favourite Texans.

She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon's birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 78, and son Shooter, 42.
