She sings of finding a man named Flores from Juarez - south of El Paso - in her humorous tune Tequila Does. Miranda wrote the song with fellow Texans Jon Randall and Jack Ingram for seventh album Wildcard. Flores was a fictitious flirt - unlike Blake Shelton or second husband Brendan McLoughlin, a New-York city cop. Miranda wed Brendan on January 26, 2019 in Davidson County , Tennessee. It was Lambert's second wedding after her four-year marriage to Blake Shelton from 2011 to 2015 and rebound romances with singers Anderson East and Turnpike Troubadours co-founder Clay Felker. Miranda's concert with Brothers Osborne at Rod Laver Arena and the 13 th CMC Rocks Queensland festival in Ipswich have been postponed. Blake also joined fellow Oklahoma star Garth Brooks in their video for Dive Bar form Garth's 22 nd album Fun. They dived, danced and sang at Blake's Nashville honky-tonk Ole Red in full scuba gear. DIERKS AND TRAVIS BECOME HOT COUNTRY KNIGHTS Dierks Bentley went under cover with his new covers band Hot Country Knights who feature Georgian singing actor Travis Tritt. They don disguises for Pick Her Up - their debut single. It also features actress Tiffani Thiessen, known for her roles in Saved by the Bell and Beverly Hills 90210. “Travis Tritt is our longtime spirit animal and we have spent many a long night in the back of the van dreaming of working with or maybe even for Tiffani,” Dierks, now 44, says in his alter ego Doug Douglason. “When UMG finally came around and signed us, they were two of our demands for the music video.” Tritt was equally effusive. “When the Hot Country Knights asked me to be a part of their music video for our new single Pick Her Up I wasn't sure what to think,” Tritt, now 57, confessed after appearing in movies diverse as Rio Diablo, The Cowboy Way , Fire Down Below, Outlaw Justice and The Blues Brothers. “I'm glad I said yes. What a blast! Have fun with this!” Hot Country Knights feature Bentley, lead bassist Trevor Travis, lead guitarist Marty Ray Rayro Roburn, keytar/fiddle player Terotej Terry Dvoraczekynski, steel guitarist Barry Van Ricky and percussionist Monte Montgomery. Hot Country Knights revive a comedic element akin to historic Grand Ole Opry stars String Bean Akeman, Minnie Pearl and others. Bentley, 41, broadened his career by fronting his Bolo Boys bluegrass band as his opening act at some concerts. Dierks toured here in 2012 with Lee Kernaghan and attracted former St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt and Carlton stars Andrew Walker and David Ellard to his St Kilda Palais concert. Hot Country Knights follows Dierks 12th album The Mountain. CLICK HERE for a Dierks CD feature in The Diary on July 25, 2016. JOHN ANDERSON MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR Florida born singer-songwriter John Anderson takes viewers on a trip through his rich history on his return. At 65 he had plenty of memories from his long years on the road and beyond. Years is the evocative title track of his 23rd album produced by Dan Auerbach and David Ferguson and set for April 10. The album includes 10 new originals and a cameo by Blake Shelton on Tuesday I'll Be Gone. Anderson joined Blake on his Friends & Heroes arena tour. “We went in the studio, and I remember saying, I'm going to do this like it might be my last,” Anderson revealed. “It still could be, but now the chances of that are getting slimmer and slimmer every day. I'm doing better so I'm not hardly thinking that way anymore. There's a few things that I came out of this whole deal better with. Part of it is my love for music and part of it is my appreciation for my family. But the biggest part is knowing that I might die here any minute, for who knows what reason, but I know that the good Lord already came down and touched me. There's not a doubt in my mind.” Other songwriters on the record include Paul Overstreet, Pat McLaughlin, Dee White, Joe Allen, Bobby Wood, Larry Cordle, Auerbach and Ferguson. Anderson recently released a two-disc, 40-track album called 40 Years and Still Swingin.' CLICK HERE for a John Anderson feature in The Diary on December 18, 2012. But he always had a furry companion with him - his canine Jack whom he rescued from a truck stop 70 miles outside Nashville . His 1994 debut single Old Enough To Know Better and video shot at Gruene Hall in Texas hit #1 and was followed by five Top 5 hits in the first three years of his career. Live It Up follows the mother of two's self-titled EP in August 2019 that was produced by Michael Zammit at Airwaves Recording Studio . It's out on Social Family Records. Michelle suggested her friend make the most of life. She does with frequent gigs in Williamstown, Altona and way beyond and MCG footy shows that included the 2017 and 2018 Essendon-Geelong country game entrées in Yarra Park.
