They are joined by Dolly, 73, in their evocative video that illustrates reflection of pain and rehab. I know that it touched me at a time when I needed to be lifted up.” Joel said Dolly's vocals were "an out of body experience for us as writers and artists. As soon as we heard her vocals on the track, we immediately realized that this song was meant for her voice.” Dolly was focus of NBC-TV special on November 26 - Dolly Parton: 50 Years at the Grand Ole Opry. His cross-cultural exchange included trips to West Texas deserts and Austin concerts and fuelled previous video Terlingua with his Rising Sons band. Some joined him on his live video Take Me Home - third single from his new solo album Heartland. He has since released a video for rural rooted song Better Man about a farmer who suffered mental health issues after losing his farm. “He tried to make things work on his farm, however as things got harder and harder his wife and kids ended up leaving and moving to Melbourne .” Ward revealed. “He dug his heels and unfortunately eventually lost the farm, his family, everything. He was clearly very upset and was saying he had, had suicidal thoughts, so I wrote the song from that story.” Further info - http://www.mattjwardmusic.com/ STEPHANIE QUAYLE HOME ON HER RANGE IN MONTANA Stephanie Quayle is high in the saddle on her return. Quayle flew to her family's ranch in aptly named Paradise Valley to film If I Was A Cowboy. It's on her new EP that follows debut album Love The Way You See Me. Stephanie, now 37, previously graced us with her hit video Drinking With Dolly. If I Was a Cowboy begins with Quayle's self-described “cowboy state of mind” in its title track. It was released in early 2019 and recalls memories of childhood growing up in Montana with a mother she refers to as "the greatest cowboy in the history of the world.” “It's for a woman who grew up venturing across the wide-open western landscape on horseback, the images of soaring eagles and wild horses symbolize freedom,” Quayle explained of the visions of a tree that overlooks the Yellowstone River near her Montana home and how each time she visits, she sees a bald eagle sitting on a perch that takes off soaring into the open abyss. “To me, it doesn't get better than that,” she added. “I think when you think about those moments personally, you can't help but feel a little bit stronger, a little bit more willing." She became fascinated with how a story could be expressed through songs, and at the age of 12 she began writing songs. After learning piano at 15 Quayle bought a second-hand guitar and taught herself, setting her lyrics to music. At 16 she spent several months in Switzerland as an exchange student. She joined a Swiss band as lead singer and recorded an album before returning to Montana .
