DIERKS AND BROTHERS OSBORNE IN BURNING MAN RESCUE

Arizona born singer-songwriter-pilot Dierks Bentley and 52 nd CMA Awards winners Brothers Osborne rescue a burning man when they head to mountains, beach, stages and Joshua Tree desert in their graphic new video.

“This song is a personal reflection and it was important to me that you feel that with the video," Bentley, 43, revealed of Burning Man.

"The Brothers and I flew out to the desert in July to shoot this, several people on the crew had heat strokes, two cars got stuck in the sand and we had to have a rattlesnake wrangler with us at all times but we got the shots."

Burning Man is on Bentley's 13 song 11th album The Mountain that debuted at #1 in June.

It was nominated for Vocal Event at the 2018 CMA Awards and The Mountain was nominated for Male Vocalist and Album of the Year.

Dierks performed with Brothers Osborne on the awards and toured here with Lee Kernaghan in 2012.

Brothers Osborne won CMA Awards best vocal duo in November and played CMC Rocks Queensland festival in March.

Brothers John, 35, and T.J., 32, left Maryland for Nashville as songwriters to follow their muse and released second album Port Saint Joe on April 20.

MARGO PRICE LIVE LEFTOVERS

Mid-West Farmer's Daughter Margo Price appears in a red nudie rhinestone suit in a sea of mirrors on her return.

She didn't need mirrors as the Out On The Weekend festival headliner in October at Seaworks in Williamstown or the second Australian Americana Awards at Thornbury Theatre.

Margo performed Leftovers that follows her second solo album All American Made.

The psychedelia-infused video was directed by Casey Pierce and shot in Nashville .

"I had so much fun working with Casey Pierce on this project. I really got to cut loose during the filming, I smoked a joint and started crawling around on the floor inside the room of mirrors," Price revealed.

"As far as the styling goes, I brought some of my loudest/most obnoxious outfits and did a lot of costume changes to keep things bright and colorful. In the video I'm wearing a sequin jumper that my friend Elizabeth NeSmith made me, a red rhinestone Nudie-style suit made by Ashlyn Evans, a white fringe Elvis-inspired number by Wallflower San Fran , and a black suit made by the legendary Manuel."

Margo, now 35, and guitarist husband Jeremy Ivey front her quintet who won wide acclaim after selling their wedding rings and cars to finance her first solo album Mid-West Farmer's Daughter at Sun Studios in Memphis.

She played piano, sang in a church choir and studied dance and theatre in tiny Ohio town Aledo before moving to Nashville at 20.

Margo started Buffalo Clover with Jeremy and released three albums and fronted Margo & The Price-Tags whose members included Sturgill Simpson and Kenny Vaughan.

She announced her pregnancy during a Nashville concert with Jack White in November.

"I've been hiding something behind my guitar," Price told the audience.

"We're expecting a baby this May."

It will be Price's third child with husband Jeremy Ivey.

In 2010 she gave birth to twins Ezra and Judah but Ezra died in infancy because of a heart condition - subject of her song Hands Of Time .

She appeared on Nu Country with A Little Pain, Desperate & Depressed, Weakness, Hurting on the Bottle, Hands Of Time and It's Not Drink Driving If You Are Riding a Horse.

TOM CURTAIN SOUTH OF BROOME

Northern Territory stockman and singer-songwriter Tom Curtain celebrates the tenacity of Janice Bell at her Barn Hill Station and Beachside Stay caravan park near Broome.

Where The Pindan Meets The Ocean is a true story about a lady who owns and operates a cattle station in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia,” dual Golden Guitarist Curtain revealed.

“With two young kids, a house she built herself from mud bricks and a small herd of cattle, Janice Bell of Barnhill Station saw an opportunity to diversify and build a caravan park on the red Pindan soils overlooking the majestic Indian Ocean.

“The song depicts her courage and determination to overcome the hardships of isolation, raising a young family, running a cattle station, limited power, water or phone service and building a caravan park, which today is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the Kimberley Region.

“Where The Pindan Meets The Ocean is the fourth song released from my third album Territory Time.

Barn Hill Beachside Station Stay also happens to be the place I proposed to my beautiful wife Annabel.”

It's a far cry from Mildura where Tom was born and Kumbia near Kingaroy where he grew up.

Curtain runs Katherine Outback Experience with wife Annabel.
