Hunter Valley singer-songwriter Kirsty Lee Akers headlines Nu Country TV on Saturday August 11 at 9 pm on Channel 31/Digital 44.
Williamstown pianist-lawyer Patsy Toop and Yarraville singer-signwriter David Baird, aka The Long & The Short Of It , also return to the show hosted by Mid Pacific Bob Olson.
North Carolina nouveau outlaw Luke Combs boomerangs to the program repeated Sunday 11.30 pm and Monday 3 pm.
Luke's March touring partner Darius Rucker and recent visitors Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Charles Kelley also perform on the show filmed and edited by Laith Graham.
Canadian Corb Lund and Texan Hayes Carll - former touring partner of Akers - combine in our Behind Bars segment.
And North Georgia raised brothers Smith & Wesley debut with comedian Cledus T Judd.

Kirsty Lee Akers walked more than a mile or two in her high heel shoes to illustrate her video for the title track of her fifth album Under My Skin.
The 30-year-old proved to be a maestro of costume changes in her spring fashion sprint.
I really wanted to do something different for this music video, Kirsty revealed on the eve of two Canadian tours.
We stepped outside of the box a little on this one and I'm so happy with how it turned out. It was filmed on a green screen and features me walking through different animated worlds. In the real world filming it, I had to be constantly walking on a treadmill to pull off the effect. By the end of the day I had walked 20 kilometres in high heels, so I was pretty exhausted, but it was totally worth it!
The clip was produced by Klik Productions and directed by Jesse Anderson - same creators of six videos from her fourth album Burn Baby Burn.
The yellow, black and white outfits featured in Under My Skin are one-off creations by Australian fashion label, Racy & Lucky , who designed for other stars including Lady Gaga.
She wrote Under My Skin in Nashville with Phil Barton and Bruce Wallace.
Akers launched her new CD at the Groundwater Country Music Festival in Broadbeach last month before returning to Canada and playing the Big Valley Jamboree with Luke Combs.

Williamstown and Yarraville based The Long & Short Of It visited another peninsula for their latest video clip. Patsy & Dave dropped in at Woody's Firewood at Baxter en route to the famed Dromana Drive-In Theatre on the Mornington Peninsula . The duo's band were also joined by the energetic Kickback Country dancers at Majella and John Brown's Kickin Country dance hall at Barongarook. The video featured lead characters, Chris Ferron and Skye Young, with cameos by Paul Hem and Madison Vulic who played Gypsy White Moon in a previous video. It was produced by Haili Luxa Idak and Rick Idak from All Events Video Productions. Old School is latest single from the Long & Short Of It sixth album The Night Of Our Life. LUKE COMBS BEAUTIFUL CRAZY

Luke Combs performs a live version of Beautiful Crazy at the Blackbird Studio in Nashville.
Combs, 28, played the sold out 11 th CMC Rocks Queensland festival at Ipswich before a concert with South Carolina star Darius Rucker at Melbourne CBD Forum Theatre on March 19.
Combs joined Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Dustin Lynch, Randy Houser, Old Dominion, Dan + Shay , Dean Brody, Brett Young, Brothers Osborne, Gord Bamford and major local artists at CMC Rocks Queensland .
The CMC festival and Rucker-Combs tour are among memorable projects organised by our late benefactor Rob Potts and fellow Tasmanian born Michael Chugg.
Luke left home town of Asheville for Nashville after dropping out of Appalachia University .
It was worth it for Combs whose deluxe version of debut album This One's For You Too featuring five new songs, including Beautiful Crazy, was released here in June.

DARIUS RUCKER ALSO LIVE BEHIND BARS

Combs Australian touring partner Darius Rucker returns to Behind Bars with fellow recent tourists Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum in a prohibition Pantomime.
The triple Grammy winner's quartet cavort in an old style speak-easy that is raided by the Feds.
But the musical villains escaped with the loot.
They perform diverse roles with a vast cast in Straight To Hell on When Was The Last Time - the seventh album by 52 year-old Rucker.
Rucker is no stranger to acting - he appeared in Hawaii Five-O and CMT show Sun Records .
He also graced Nu Country with For The First Time, Top Of The Tower and I Got Nothing from third album Charleston , South Carolina , 1966 - named after his hometown.
His version of Wagon Wheel from fourth album True Believers sold two million copies and broke him here.
Wagon Wheel was a Bob Dylan song that also charted for Old Crow Medicine Show after lead singer Ketch Secor revamped the lyrics.
Darius surpassed success of ex-band Hootie & The Blowfish who sold more than 25 million albums in their 22-year career that started at college in South Carolina in 1986.
When Rucker scored with Don't Think I Don't Think About It he was the first Afro-American to top country charts since Charley Pride's 29th smash Night Games in 1983.
The late Ray Charles followed with his #1 hit duet with Willie Nelson on Seven Spanish Angels in March 1985.

CORB LUND AND HAYES CARLL BIBLE ON THE DASH

Texan Hayes Carll and Canadian singing actor Corb Lund employ their trusty travel companion - a Bible on the dash to fight the law and win.
They employed Biblical first aid to avoid arrest in a humorous highway escapade.
Hayes, 42, toured here in 2012 with Kirsty Lee Akers and Corb, 49, made his fifth Australian tour in 2009.
Bible on The Dash is on Corb's seventh album Cabin Fever .
The former rodeo rider and his band The Hurtin' Albertans played 2009 CMC Rocks The Snowys festival at Thredbo to promote fifth album Horse Soldier.
They also appeared in Hollywood horror movie Slither starring Gregg Henry, Michael Rooker, Elizabeth Banks, Rheagan Wallace, Brenda James, Don Thompson, Haig Sutherland, Lloyd Kaufman and Jennifer Copping.
"It's every songwriter's dream to be in a horror movie," Lund told Nu Country after shooting a bar scene in a Vancouver honky tonk in Slither .
Lund lives in Lethbridge , Alberta , and was raised on the family ranch at Taber by his parents - a fourth generation rodeo family whose ancestral roots were in Montana and Utah .
He played Rose Café at Jan Juc on Victoria 's famed Surf Coast near the homes of many Geelong footballers including Gary Ablett Jr in 2008.
Carll and his son Elijah proved the power of magic on the mean streets of Texas capital Austin in previous video The Magic Kid from his fifth album Lovers And Leavers in a five year hiatus from recording.
Carll recorded the album after divorce from Elijah's mother Jenna.
Fellow singer-songwriter Joe Henry produced it for Carll's indie label Highway 87 .
Hayes, like Blake Shelton, found solace in the arms of another singer.
He dated duet partner Allison Moorer - sixth ex-wife of Steve Earle - who also wrote songs for his new album.

GEORGIAN BROTHERS BOATING AND FISHING

North Georgian brothers Smith & Wesley employ boating and fishing metaphors and frivolity in their show debut.
They recruited country comedian Cledus T Judd and a briny belle on deck chairs for a food tasting of a difference on Chickamauga Lake outside Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Judd, famed for his parodies Skoal, If Shania Was Mine, First Redneck on the Internet and I Love NASCAR , slips into a daydream while fishing by the lake in their Hook Line and Sinker video.
Todd and Scott Smith perform on a pontoon boat as professional bass angler Mike Del Visco guides his Texas Roadhouse fishing rig around the set.
"This is the most fun song we have released and the video takes it to a whole new level, Smith & Wesley revealed.
It's a perfect video for spring and summer, and we hope it puts a smile on the face of everyone that watches."
Hook, Line & Sinker is on their second album For Better Or Worse .
