That includes two Australian tours - the most recent landed him at Hamer Hall in March with dual Grammy winners Little Big Town. Moore, 37, wrote 11 songs on his third album Slowheart, released on September 8. But not the song, illustrated in his new video. The Bull - a song about flipping the bird to “all the bulls that bucked me off” - was written by Texan Jon Randall and Luke Dick. “That's the first time a song had really punched me in the mouth that wasn't mine,” Moore revealed. “That's how I feel about everything right now.” Moore, one of six children, played the Snowy Mountains country festival at Thredbo and CMC Rocks Queensland in 2016. His mother plays organ in the Baptist church at Tifton, Georgia, where he debuted at the Mellow Mushroom restaurant. Nouveau Alabama outlaw Jamey Johnson produced her second album Whiskeytown Crier that features 13 of her original songs and came out in September. Erin has written hits for artists diverse as Alan Jackson, Randy Travis and Texan Lee Ann Womack. She was on spring break during senior year at Middle Tennessee State University when she learned Jackson recorded her mournful ballad Monday Morning Church - the first major cut of her career. Two months later Randy Travis cut another of Erin song before Womack recorded her Last Call for 2008's Call Me Crazy . After Luke Bryan recorded Enderlin's You Don't Know Jack for his 2011 album Tailgates and Tanlines she got a call from Merle Haggard. Erin once shared a house with Grammy winning chart topping Kentucky coal-miner's son Chris Stapleton who appears on her new disc. “Every night, I could hear him singing through the air conditioning vent,” Erin recalled. “I don't know how it perfectly sent all that noise up to my room. Usually people would be pissed. ‘Damn it, why do I have to listen to my room-mates?' But in my case, it was amazing. I could just hear him down there writing or singing. I remember thinking, ‘People are not going to believe this someday.'” Stapleton sings on Caroline - first of her two murder songs - and His Memory Walks on Water about a daughter who wills herself to overlook her late father's addiction Erin is also a popular co-writer with prolific Golden Guitarist, TV show host and Dancing With The Stars contestant Adam Brand. “Erin and I have been friends for a long time and written together a few times over the years,” said thrice wed Perth born and Colac and Wallington raised Adam, now 47 and promoting his 13 th album Get On Your Feet. She hails from Taylor Hill, Kentucky, fronted a bluegrass band at 11, played a prison gig at 14 and debuted at Dollywood at 16. She performs the live video for her breakthrough hit Every Little Thing - one of eight songs she wrote for her debut CD out this month. “I never really thought that it was going to have the impact that it has,” Pearce, now 27, revealed. “It's a true story. I had a really difficult break up with a guy that definitely was my first love. I wanted to tell the story of those moments when you feel like you can't take another breath without that person, and you go through the cycle of wanting to forget them and not wanting to forget them - hating them and loving them. But the heart is going to be the one to decide when to let that person go, not you.” The single reached Top 10. “I was initially going to do a self-titled debut,” Pearce explained. “But obviously, the title song has so much significance to me because it's the song that lead the whole album to be even possible. And I think that it shows every little thing about who I am and my influences.” “I love real, true female voices with a lot of tone and a lot of texture. I come from the mountain sound. I love true singers and stylists. “I wrote this song - my debut single - thinking that no one would ever hear it, about a guy who broke my heart a few years ago. “I think that we never really understand that our hearts are ultimately the ones that have to decide when we're ready to let somebody go.” Hit-maker busbee produced the album. “I think you'll hear a lot of the organic instrumentation,” Pearce said. “There's a lot of Dobro, which is something I grew up loving - Jerry Douglas on Alison Krauss' music. You'll hear a lot of banjo, mandolin and acoustic guitar. There are certain things that I do with my voice that I think you can hear, like Sonya Isaacs and Alison and the way they sing. I wanted to emulate a lot of those bluegrass singers, and the way that they would reach notes.” Carly and West Texan Josh Abbott previously appeared on Nu Country with their duet of Wasn't That Drunk from Abbott's fourth album Front Row Seat . Josh's band also performed the song with Carly on Jimmy Kimmel Live on May 31, 2016.
