The singer praised the bar in his video before playing to a huge aquatic crowd who soaked up surf and music from their boats and beach. Chesney resurrected a late Dennis Linde leap of faith song as entrée title track of his album. It's a riveting rebirth of a career sprouted from humble roots to calypso and reggae and celebration of life in Till It's Gone and Drink It Up . At 46 he flexes his musical muscle - he ditched the first sessions because they veered into generic bro-country wasteland. Lead single American Kids exploits teen nostalgia with vivid imagery and Wild Child is a duet with Grace Potter. CLICK HERE for a CD review in The Diary. “As amazing as he was on stage and on record, I got to see first-hand his generosity and the incredible opportunity he gave a brand-new artist like me," Beddingfield said. "He was the first, the last and the only, and there will never be another one like him. I will miss him."” A chance meeting at a local restaurant offered the opportunity to put the song in George's hands. "We were eating lunch, and half-joking about cool it would be to get George to sing on this song knowing it would probably never happen," said Eric. "We get up to leave, and George and his wife Nancy are sitting two tables away. I ran to the studio, made a copy of the song, brought it back to the restaurant and told them it would be an honor for George just to listen to the song. I still can't believe a couple of months later I was standing next to him in the studio listening to one of the greatest voice in country music sing on my song!" Eric makes his debut Australian tour this month with Cannons Creek dairy farmer & Shed festival host Turk Tresize.
