Dierks Bentley's passengers joins the mile high club after the male lead is jilted en route to a honeymoon in Cancun south of the border in old Mexico.
A priest tips one back while others imbibe, dance and sup on vino, beer and vittles in Dierks hilarious video for Drunk On A Plane .
Dierks, now 38 and father of three, flies his own jet to gigs in the U.S. and also played the hero pilot on his Riser Airlines flight of fancy.
The singer also fronted the recent CMT Awards in Nashville dressed as a Riser Airlines pilot.
Drunk On A Plane is on Bentley's ninth album Riser that he plans to promote on his third tour of Australia in 2015.
On his 2012 tour Dierks and Australian of The Year Lee Kernaghan welcomed Carlton star Andrew Walker, team-mate David Ellard and St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt to his gig at the historic Palais.

KIP MOORE PUTS FOOT TO THE FLOOR

Georgian Kip Moore shows how southern boys court belles whose parents don't ring for him in his vibrant video for Young Love.
It was the first single from his second album - sequel to 2012 debut disc Up All Night, the best-selling debut disc by a male for 2012-2013.
Moore, now 34, proves how the bedroom window is an age old escape route for young lovers.
Kip's late dad drove pick-ups but he opted for a red getaway car in this romantic romp.
Moore's mama may have been the sobering influence in his adolescent adventures.
The mother of six children plays organ in the Baptist church in his hometown Tifton.
Moore, an avid surfer, has since released a new single Dirt Road and written tunes for fellow young guns Thompson Square and James Wesley.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott missed his opportunity to sell his end of the age of entitlement budget in New York City on his recent visit. But the PM added a Texas touch to his trip by accepting and donning a Stetson in Houston while announcing a new Australian consulate general in the U.S. energy capital - home of more than 100 major Australian companies. Nu Country host Mid Pacific Bob Olson gives Abbott a few more hints this week when he serves Shotgun Willie Nelson's video for Roll Me Up And Smoke Me When I Die as dessert for his recipe in Behind Bars & Barbecues. |
Willie performed the humorous funereal song in an all-star encore with fellow Texan Kacey Musgraves, bluegrass queen Alison Krauss and her band Union Station at Radio City Music Hall in the Big Apple when the PM was in town.
Trick cyclist Abbott chose dancing actor Hugh Jackman for his gym workout major photo op.
There was also a soiree with Willie's fellow octogenarian Rupert Murdoch where he may have learned Nelson's birthplace Abbott shared name with the PM and was also where Willie began his 65 year working career.
Last week Willie's 69 th album Band Of Brothers debuted at #5 on the Billboard all genre Top 200 and #1 on country charts with sales of 37,000.
Willie could have given the benefit of his wisdom of graduating from cotton picking to guitar picking on Trigger - a guitar older than Abbott and still in active service.
Now, if young Tony had attended old Willie's gig they could have shared fitness secrets and benefits of a Biblical background.
Baptist born long-time Zen disciple Willie won his 5th-degree black belt in martial art Gong Kwon Yu Sul on the eve of his 81st birthday on April 30.
Abbott may have learned Willie is also a keen jogger - on his 1981 Australasian tour he left the Mayor of Christchurch waiting in the lobby before their photo op jog while Willie puffed on a joint acquired by the guitarist for his major Aussie support.
Yes, your diarist was also in the lobby covering the tour on an extended work expedition for Rupert's now defunct Sydney Daily Mirror and still alive and kicking Daily Telegraph and The Australian.
Willie adopted Dead Livers cult hit I'd Love To Have A Joint With Willie - parody of the Pat Alexander penned Slim Dusty hit Duncan - as his pre-concert tour theme song over the house P.A.
Your diarist was in Christchurch because a wild brawl between Willie's Auckland concert backstage guests The Hells Angels and Samoan gang The Headhunters erupted when bikies who were not backstage started throwing beer bottles at Willie's support act - country music comic and syndicated American Country Countdown host Don Bowman.
The brawl made front page news in both islands of New Zealand, Australian mainstream media and back home in the U.S. and your Diarist assured his editors he needed to hang in there to report sequels.
Instead he drove one of Willie's buses from Picton near Wellington to Christchurch.
But all is not lost for Abbott and Treasurer Joe Hockey.
Willie stages his 41 st July 4 picnic in Cowtown adjacent to Billy Bob's - the biggest cowboy colosseum in the western world with a live bull riding ring and 42 bar stations.
The octogenarian has his own golf course, a bio-diesel company whose Carl's Corner HQ locale he won in a hand of poker, and a vast array of buses to take the stress out of peak hour traffic.
Tony and Joe could fly direct into Dallas-Fort Worth and find the perfect photo op, standing on-stage with Willie, pianist sister Bobbie, 83, and fellow headliners Billy Joe Shaver, 74, Johnny Bush, 79, David Allan Coe, 74, and Ray Wylie Hubbard, just 67.
Sadly Ray Price, who played the picnic for the last time at 86 in 2012, went to God at 87 on December 16 last year, and is no longer available for photo ops.
The message there is if you love your work you might survive in Texas - sadly, not everyone has that opportunity here in the unlucky radio country.
Well, Smoky Dawson and Slim Dusty were exceptions and McKean Sisters are on the road again.

INDIE LINDI WEARS A TIN STAR

Toronto born singer Lindi Ortega debuts on Nu Country with her video for the title track of her fifth album Tin Star - just three months after her Australian tour.
Lindi, 34, has rich ancestry - a mix of Mexican and Irish - and sang for tips and kisses in her video.
Suspect she had a more fitting fee as she strutted her stuff here on guitar, piano and ukulele at The Toff in Town in April.
Lindi spent nearly a decade as an independent artist in Toronto, releasing two albums and an EP.
She was described as Toronto's best kept secret and nicknamed Indie Lindi .
During 2010 and 2011 she toured extensively as a backup singer for Brandon Flowers, lead singer of The Killers , in support of his solo album, Flamingo .
This tour included dates in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Mexico and performances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
In December 2011 Ortega moved to Nashville where she worked with producer Colin Linden to record her album Cigarettes & Truck-stops .
It was released on Last Gang Records on October 2, 2012.
She toured the US and Canada opening for Southern California punks Social Distortion .
On February 7, 2012, she was nominated for two Juno Awards - New Artist and Roots & Traditional Album.
Ortega released her third Last Gang album Tin Star on October 8, 2013.
ONE GOULBURN ROO SAFE OUT ON THE FARM

Singing Goulburn farmer Roo Arcus sings for his supper when he raises cattle - not kangas - on his farm.
History repeated for folks who enjoy life in the rural slow lane in his video for Out On The Farm on his second album This Here Cowboy .
Arcus struck gold early when late bush balladeer Slim Dusty recorded his tune Ringers, Rigs and Drivers for his trucking album Making A Mile .
The song - written about a traffic jam when 13 road trains pulled into the Arcus family farm - also landed the singer-songwriter a 12-month stint as Slim's touring partner.
Touring tutelage with Dusty and bandleader - former New Zealand dairy farmer Rod Coe - enabled Arcus to cut his 2000 debut album Station Boy .
It earned Roo two 2001 Golden Guitar nominations and predictions of a creative career that began on graduation from the inaugural 1997 Australian College of Country Music.
But that was more than a decade ago and a double disaster knocked the Goulburn gaucho out of the saddle.
Arcus's mother was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2004 and a protracted drought decimated farms - including their Southern Tablelands family property.
The drought - throughout the west of NSW and Queensland and way beyond - aggravated the Arcus family pain.
And, unlike some lucky city slickers who can switch jobs at the drop of a hat, the Arcus clan toughed it out.
