Tennessean troubadour Chris Young and Floridian Cassadee Pope headline Nu Country TV this Wednesday June 15 at 9.30 pm on Channel 31/Digital 44.
Chart-topper Wynonna Judd and her band The Big Noise featuring her third husband Cactus Moser of Highway 101 fame debut with a live double shot in our Behind Bars section on the show filmed and edited by Laith Graham.
Much travelled Californian singing actor Leslie Cours Mather returns to the program repeated at Faron Young time - Four in The Morning - on the Sabbath.
Sydney school-teacher Luke O'Shea returns with his vitriolic parody of our lucky country's rural riches being sold to corporate foreign raiders.
And Yarraville singer-signwriter Dave Baird and revered personal injuries lawyer Patsy Toop debut in their alter egos as The Long And Short Of It with their picturesque prediction of our same nation 2,000 years from now.

CHRIS - FOREVER YOUNG WITH FEMALE POPE

Chris Young shares more than a duet with singing partner Cassadee Pope on the video for chart topping hit Think of You from his fifth album I'm Coming Over.
Both were discovered on reality TV talent shows almost a decade apart.
In 2006 Young, now 31, was the winner of TV program Nashville Star - a singing competition which aired on the USA Network.
Pope, now 26, was the female victor in The Voice on December 18th, 2012, as a member of Oklahoma star Blake Shelton's team.
She performed Over You - written by mentor Shelton and Texan ex-singing spouse Miranda Lambert.
Cassadee, who released a CD and three EPS with pop group Hey Monday , launched a self-titled EP in 2012 and debut solo album Frame By Frame in 2013.
Pope, born in affluent enclave of West Palm Beach in Florida, is touring with Young to promote her new album Summer .
Young, who hails from Murfreesboro in Tennessee, is the grandson of Richard Yates - a performer on the famed Louisiana Hayride.
His two Australian tours include a high energy sold-out concert with Big & Rich at the Billboard Club in the heart of the Melbourne CBD in March, 2015.

WYNONNA CREATES A BIG NOISE LIVE

Kentuckian Wynonna Judd may not be as well as her actress sister Ashley in Australia but that could soon change.
Wynonna, now 52, performs live versions of Ain't No Thing and Things That I Lean On with her band The Big Noise in Behind Bars.
Her third husband Cactus Moser of Highway 101 produced the songs from her seventh album.
Moser lost a leg in a 2012 accident on U.S. Route 16 in the aptly named Black Hills when his Harley Davidson crossed the centre line and hit a car.
Despite having his left leg being amputated above the knee he has re-joined Wynonna's band and plays drums in her concerts and these video clips.
The album features Alabama born recent tourist Jason Isbell - a graduate of the Drive-By Truckers – guests on Things That I Lean On.
And Derek Trucks who did his time in the Dixie Rock mines with The Allman Brothers performs on the aptly named Keeps Me Alive .
Trucks singing spouse Susan Tedeschi, who also toured here with him recently, features on Ain't No Thing and Eagles icon Timothy B Schmit is on I Can See Everything.
Wynonna, 52, and her mother Naomi topped charts on more than 12 albums as The Judds in a 27 year career from 1983.

LESLIE COURS MATHER PROVES SHE'S COUNTRIFIED

Californian singing actor Leslie Cours Mather praises her musical passion in the video for the title track of her debut album Countrified .
Mather is well qualified to embellish her personal travelogue after crossing the world with her dad - an American Army Lieutenant Colonel.
Leslie was born in Singapore and has also lived in Indonesia, Virginia, Nashville, Orlando, New Jersey, St Louis, Pittsburgh, South Carolina and Los Angeles.
She previously appeared on Nu Country TV with her video for Hell Hath No Fury, filmed on California 's Sierra Highway.

LUKE O'SHEA SAVING THE BUSH

Luke O'Shea delivers powerful images of our rural land being pillaged by greedy foreigners in his new video for My Country's My King on his sixth album Caught Up In The Dreaming.
O'Shea sings of how he believes our politicians don't protect farmers from corporate raiders - a timely tome in the Federal election debate.
Life imitated art for Luke when he and his farm raised dad Rick, 71, were arrested for protesting against coal seam gas mining on rural land and did a stint behind bars in Narrabri.
The O'Shea clan was protesting on the polluted Namoi river bank near Maules Creek where Rick was raised.
It was a sibling song of sorts of fellow singer-songwriter Harmony James Coal Seam Gas , also accompanied by a video clip.
But it's not just gas guzzlers that are the enemy.
A Chinese goliath bought a large dairy farm in Van Diemen's Land and another is trying to buy the former Kidman family outback properties.
Maybe Luke could extend his song sources to two major milk processors whose payments to dairy farmers have been slashed.
As a fifth generation dairy farmer I share the pain - but not just on the Shipwreck Coast.
The deserted vacant house next door to my suburban retreat was one of a baker's dozen owned by a Hong Kong land banking company that was de-registered by ASIC in 1994.
The possums, rats and bees procreated with not so gay abandon as trees and bushes crashed onto our fences - yes, where we filmed some of our Nu Country TV show hosting roles.
But that's another story as we await the arrival of Luke's new album.

PATSY AND DAVE - 2,000 YEARS FROM NOW

Yarraville duo Patsy and Dave, also known as The Long And Short Of It , take us on a trip to local beaches in their video for 2,000 Years From Now.
The prophetic song, penned by prolific Nashville songwriter Byron Hill, is on their second album You Made Me Stronger , recorded in Music City.
It's a far cry from their reality TV program debut - a feat shared with this week's show headliners Chris Young and Cassadee Pope.
Many moons ago the duo appeared on Australia's Got Talent .
So who are The Long And Short Of It ?
Well, Dave Baird (not the long deceased Melbourne show business writer) is a Yarraville signwriter and Patsy Toop is a mother of four children and an award winning Williamstown lawyer.
She was inducted onto the Victorian Honour Roll of Women in recognition of her trailblazing litigation work and volunteering.
Patsy was recognised for 34 years' legal work representing workers' human rights in cases of asbestos-related and chemical-induced illnesses.
She was also founding board member and passionate volunteer for Seaworks Foundation that supports restoration and preservation of Williamstown's maritime precinct.
Patsy sold her practice to Slater & Gordon in 2015 to concentrate on music and family.
It was impeccable timing as stock market connoisseurs may have noted.
“I love the law and do miss it but I am now concentrating on the music with Dave,” Patsy revealed.
“We're working on a studio in Yarraville to provide a performance space for independent musicians. This project is taking a lot of time.”
Both Two Thousand Years From Now and another video - Fifty Bucks and a Case of Beer - feature in this series of Nu Country and made local charts.
The duo's new self-penned album (co-written with Nashville producer and friend Kenny Royster), is released in late July and will be promoted by touring.
