Grafton born Troy Cassar Daley and Nullarbor plains schooled singer-songwriter Kasey Chambers headline Nu Country TV Saturday May 23 at 10. 30 pm on Channel 31/Digital 44.
Oscar winning New Mexico raised former rodeo rider Ryan Bingham returns Behind Bars on the show hosted by Mid Pacific Bob Olson and filmed and edited by Laith Graham.
Former SteelDrivers guitarist-singer Chris Stapleton debuts on the program repeated Monday 5.30 am and 2.30 pm and Thursday 2.30 am.
Recent Aussie tourist Justin Townes Earle and Texan Bart Crow also return with floral tributes of a diverse nature.

Troy Cassar-Daley performs an acoustic version of the title track of his ninth album that is the focus of his national tour.
Freedom Ride celebrates the epic bus trip led by Charles Perkins when Aborigines were banned from Moree pool in 1965.
Troy , 45 and father of two, played Palms At Crown on Saturday May 9.

KASEY CHAMBERS BITTERSWEET RELIGIOUS QUESTIONS

Kasey Chambers returns to the show with a question of faith from her seventh solo album Bittersweet that she showcased at The Forum in Melbourne on May 1 with her dad Bill and Gippsland raised touring partner Harry Hookey and two of this three brothers.
Is God Real is a highlight of her disc that won major awards earlier this year.
The song was inspired by a question she asked eldest son Talon, just 12, about his beliefs while being raised by an Atheist father and Seventh Day Adventist mother.
“I thought he would be confused because he spends time with his dad who is an atheist and me who comes from a religious Seventh Day Adventist Family ,” Kasey revealed of the video that features Talon and extended family, “but he said he believes in God when he's with me and not when he is with his dad.”
The mother of three delayed her national tour after losing her voice but is on the road again.

OSCAR WINNER RYAN BINGHAM RETURNS

Oscar winner Ryan Bingham, who starred with Jeff Bridges in 2009 movie Crazy Heart , returns with an acoustic video for new song Nobody Knows My Trouble from his fifth album Fear And Saturday Night. It was the first song he wrote for his album. Bingham, now 34, won his Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy for his song The Weary Kind . The singer, who wrote songs as a rodeo rider in New Mexico and Texas , made his latest Australian tour in November with Harry Hookey and played a music festival in Williamstown. Ironically his first tour was in 2008 with Kasey Chambers and former singing spouse Shane Nicholson. |
On the cover of Fear and Saturday Night Bingham's hat is tilted back.
It's the first time the New Mexico-born, California-based singer-songwriter has made eye contact in one of his cover photos.
Bingham has revealed more of his self in his new songs.
“When I was younger, I think that was something I had to go through and become comfortable with it,” Bingham says.
“I just feel like I'm at a point in my life where I'm a lot more comfortable wearing it on my sleeve a little more.
“You know, I've always had to be by myself writing songs. I kinda have to get away from distractions and all that stuff, preferably in some desolate place, you know? I think that's the only way to tap into what I'm really feeling.
“Maybe I just learned from the past. I was like, “This time around I want to really try to find a place I can go hide out in and get away for a little while. It was pretty nice.”

STEEL DRIVER SOLO TRAVELS

Kentucky coal-miner's son Chris Stapleton previews his debut solo album Traveller, released on May 5 on Mercury Records, in Behind Bars . He also performed a live version of new single What Are You Listening To? Stapleton, now 37, made his name with acclaimed bluegrass band The SteelDrivers while writing hits for artists diverse as Josh Turner and Luke Bryan. Stapleton's album, Traveller , was recorded at Nashville 's historic RCA Studio A with additional production at The Castle and Blackbird Studio . Traveller was produced by Dave Cobb and recorded by Vance Powell. In addition to renditions of Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove's Tennessee Whiskey and Don Sampson's Was It 26 , the album features 12 original songs, including fan favourite Sometimes I Cry. |
Stapleton enjoyed five No. 1 hits as a songwriter including five-week No. 1 Never Wanted Nothing More by Kenny Chesney, George Strait's Love's Gonna Make it Alright and Luke Bryan‘s Drink A Beer that Stapleton recently performed with Lady Antebellum at CMT Artists of Year show.
He has penned over 170 album cuts, including songs recorded by Adele, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley, and has such notable co-writers as Vince Gill, Peter Frampton and Sheryl Crow.
Stapleton has shared the stage Gill, Alison Krauss, Marty Stuart, Emmylou Harris and more.
As lead vocalist for The SteelDrivers , Stapleton earned three Grammy nominations including Best Bluegrass Album and International Bluegrass Music Association Award for Emerging Artist of the Year.
He's also won eight ASCAP Awards and contributed to soundtracks of several feature films including Cars 2 and Valentine's Day .
Stapleton joined Little Big Town on their Pain Killer Tour in March and The Outsiders World Tour with Eric Church in May.

BART CROW FAVOURS DANDELIONS

Former Texan soldier Bart Crow grew up on a Maypearl farm south of Dallas and has a deep knowledge of floral metaphors, He perform the video for Dandelion - title track of his fifth album. Crow joined the army at 18 and now calls Austin home. Crow ends up behind bars by design in his previous video for Loving You Is A Crime from Dandelion . |
"I surrounded myself with a great team and whittled 78 songs to 12, along with two covers,” Crow revealed.
“We went into the studio and the whole thing just clicked."
Recorded with producer and Pat Green drummer/co-producer Justin Pollard and members of Green's band, with keyboardist Michael Ramos and guitarist David Grissom.
He includes the duet If I Go, I'm Goin with Macy Maloy and album debut single Little Bit of Luck.
Bart began song-writing at Tarleton State University in Stephenville , Texas.
"I kept a journal in the Army and I went back into that and moved some things around and made a couple of songs up, not even knowing what to do or how to do it," he says.
"Then, one day I said to my friend Jason Boland, 'I think I'd like to try my hand at this. I've got this book of songs I've been writing.' He said, 'Why not? We have the rest of our lives to be old and boring. Might as well do it while you can."
