Lambert shot the video three days before her Grammy Awards performance of Little Red Wagon - she fell in love with the song, co-written and recorded by Judy Garland's niece Audra Mae, at first listen. “When I heard it, I thought, ‘Oh god. This girl is ridiculous.' So I stalked her down. We're the same age, and she's from Oklahoma ,” Lambert says. “I asked her point blank: ‘What's your plan for Little Red Wagon ? Can I cut it? Can I even try to be a hair on the arse of how you did it?'” Ironically the song co-writer Joe Ginsberg is a bartender at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel a few blocks away from the Grammy venue - the Staples Centre . And, yes, Joe was tending the bar at a Grammy party while Lambert was onstage singing his words. Miranda has long run a thriving merchandise shop with her former Dallas narcotics agent guitar slinging dad Rick and mother in her Texas hometown Lindale. She also owns clothing store, the Pink Pistol , runs pet charity the Mutt-nation Foundation , and Ladysmith bed and breakfast in Tishomingo. “I bought the building across the street from the Pink Pistol in Tishomingo , Oklahoma ,” she revealed. “It was built in 1901, so it's been over a year of renovations. It is a bed and breakfast but it's also an events centre, so you can rent it for weddings and showers and private parties and all kinds of stuff. But it does have eight rooms.” CLICK HERE for a Miranda Platinum feature in The Diary on June 23, 2014. BLAKE SHELTON SIPS SANGRIA

Blake and Lambert wrote about Richie in Miranda's tune Over You - CMA Song of the Year for 2012. It was Single and Song of the Year at the 2013 Academy of Country Music awards. Don Everly, now 78, and brother Phil who died on January 3, 2014 at 74, were elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001. The sisters, backed by a stellar band featuring Albert Lee and Waddy Wachtel, perform the brothers' hits Maybe Tomorrow and Price of Love. The price of love was what the shattered siblings paid when their musician father Vernon shot their mum Laura in a bizarre murder suicide in 1986 when Allison was 13 and Shelby was 17. They were raised in Monroeville, just north of Mobile , and moved into their aunt and uncle's home after the tragedy. Shelby enjoyed a successful career that began with traditional country before becoming more eclectic on some of her later 12 albums. Lynne, now 46, also tried solace in a short-lived marriage at 18. "I was a baby when I married," recalled Lynne who played a saloon singer with Shotgun Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson in 1991 movie Another Pair Of Aces . "It was like a trip out of town." Shelby also played Carrie Cash in famed Walk the Line movie and appeared in TV series Head Case and Army Wives. She duetted with George Jones on If I Could Bottle This Up and landed a deal with Sony after appearing on the TNN Network. "I think it's cool to make records when you're 18 years old with Billy Sherrill and George Jones," she recalled. Allison, 42, toured here twice as Texan Steve Earle's seventh wife in 2005 and 2008 and released Like It Used to Be from her ninth album Down To Believing. She's picking up the pieces after splitting with second husband Earle in March last year. Moorer gave birth to the couple's first child, John Henry Earle, on April 5, 2010. She performed with Earle on After the Fire is Gone from Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute To Loretta Lynn (2010.) Allison followed Shelby to Nashville where she met Doyle "Butch" Primm - an Oklahoma-reared musician who became husband and frequent song-writing partner. Her song A Soft Place to Fall adorned Robert Redford 1998 movie The Horse Whisperer movie in which she also appeared. The ballad earned her an Academy Award nomination so she performed it on the 1999 Oscars ceremony. CLICK HERE for an Allison Moorer interview in The Diary on May 16, 2004.
