        GARY BENNETT RESURRECTS BR549 SONG

            |
          Gary
Bennett toured here in 1998 with his former band BR549 and performs
one of their old songs Even If It's Wrong from his debut solo
            album Human Condition.

Bennett performs a video of his song from his DVD that accompanied
            his CD.

Gary performed with BR549 at the Sydney launch of the Pacific Rim
CMT Pay TV show at the Metro in George St.

Expatriate Australasian Barry Coburn managed BR549 after launching
the career of superstar Alan Jackson and becoming publisher of fellow
            expat Keith Urban.

Bennett, born in Las Vegas and playing bass in a gospel band at 16,
spent the first five years of his life in Conroe, Texas. |

      He then spent
a year in southern California before his family settled in the small Northwest-logging
town of Cougar, Washington, which is nestled at the foot of Mt. St. Helens.

After high school and many logging jobs, Bennett performed solo in hometown
bars every weekend, playing traditional country songs he learned as a
boy from his parent's record collection, along with growing repertoire
        of original songs.

In 1993, he loaded his pickup truck and headed for Nashville and co-founded
BR549 when it was discovered at Roberts Western Wear on Lower Broadway.

He recorded five albums with BR549, shared three Grammy nominations and
toured with Bob Dylan, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Black Crowes and Brian
        Setzer.

Bennett, now 42, left the band in 2002 and retreated from live performing
while he wrote new tunes for his solo disc Human Condition - 12
new songs, most of which were written by Bennett, including one co-written
with Todd Snider - Better Than This.

R.S Field, renowned for production of Billy Joe Shaver, Webb Wilder, Alison
Moorer and many others, was at the studio helm.

Gary's studio band included Kenny Vaughan (Marty Stuart) on guitar, Jimmy
Lester (Webb Wilder, Los Straitjackets) on drums and Mark Winchester (Emmylou
Harris, Brian Setzer Orchestra) on bass.

Special guests include Marty Stuart, who plays mandolin on several tracks
as well as rhythm guitar on the song, Just Wanna Be With You, legendary
pedal steel guitar player Lloyd Green, and producer R.S. Field on several
        instruments.
