EMMYLOU
HARRIS LIVE AT RYMAN

Alabama
born belle Emmylou Harris won two different generations of fans on
her two Australian tours in 1983 and the nineties.
Harris, 58, has resurrected her career with a brace of producers in
a career that pre-dated her duets with the late Gram Parsons.
The singer recorded pure country with her former producer spouses
Brian Ahern and Paul Kennerley before broadening her music with Daniel
Lanois.
We feature Emmylou live at the Grand Ole Opry mother ship - Ryman
Auditorium -in 1991 with her Grammy award winning band The Nash Ramblers
featuring latter day Texan solo artist Jon Randall. |
Harris's
unique vocals have graced two separate Raven Records compilations after
being culled from her albums dating back to 1969 with Gliding Bird.
Emmylou has won at least 12 Grammys in her highly decorated career.

SIMON BRUCE DEBUT
Victorian
child prodigy Simon Bruce makes his Nu Country debut with a tune from
acclaimed debut album Restless Thoughts that was produced by Nash
Chambers.
Bruce busked on the streets of London at 13 and cut his second EP in Nashville
at 15 with Tommy Emmanuel producing and Keith Urban guesting.
He toured the U.S. with John Hiatt at 19 and worked the Texas kicker circuit
with revered peers Slaid Cleaves and Nathan Hamilton.
Bruce mines the troubadour trove of early mentor Dylan with delicious
dexterity and delivers without those aural imperfections.
