Jr may have had big boots to fill when his famous father went to God at
29 on New Years Day, 1953, in the back of a Cadillac en route to a gig
        in Canton, Ohio.

But Hank Jr, who was sent out on the road by mother Audrey at the age
of 8 to sing his dad's songs, soon carved his own niche in country music
        history.

Hank Jr, dubbed Bocephus as a baby by Hank before he died, broke album
sales records in the seventies and eighties with huge selling album embracing
        country, blues and Dixie Rock.
But substance abused genetics also plagued the superstar who almost died
in a fall from Ajax Mountain in 1975.

Four times wed Hank Jr, now 54, fought back and appeared in a movie 'A
Time To Sing' at 17 and was subject of a telemovie 'Living Proof' about
        his hell raising life.

We examine the colourful life and times of Hank Jr in response to a question
        in Ask The Guru.
