South Carolina born singer-songwriter and Covid survivor Lee Brice headlines Nu Country TV at 9 pm on Saturday April 19 on Channel 31/Digital 44.
Winton born rodeo rider and singer Wade Forster and Golden Guitarist Tori Darke and Melbourne singer Jay Santilli return to our show that is repeated at 3 am on Monday.
Texan born Jess Kellie Adams, fellow Texan Chris Chitsey and Nashville band Tennessee Backwater appear on our program filmed and edited by Laith Graham.

Lee Brice Cries

Lee Brice returns to our show after touring here in 2018 with Georgian Kip Moore.
Lee, 45 and father of three, proved he had a good reason to weep in his beer and on his pillow after his bucolic belle fled in his new video Cry.
He then heads back to bed with his guitar.
Cry follows his fifth album Hey World.
Brice exposed his soul in church and a wedding after being diagnosed with Covid before the 54th CMA Awards in Nashville in November of 2020.
Brice cancelled his role with Kentuckian chanteuse Carly Pearce who fronted Nu Country with Lee on I Hope You Are Happy Now on her second album released Valentines’ Day, 2020.
Brice also appeared on our show with his Soul video from Hey World that features his More Beer video and title track single.

Wade Forster Denim

Winton born rodeo rider and singer-songwriter Wade Forster wears Denim in his Nu Country TV return video.
Wade, 26, toured here with Luke Combs and fellow rodeo rider and Texan star Cody Johnson performs Denim from his new EP The Drifter.
It follows the Tamworth Starmaker winner’s 2022 debut album The Beginning and his Nu Country videos Off The Drugs and Chemistry.
Wade took Cody Johnson to a 2023 rodeo at Townsville where they roped, romped and wrestled steers after they also performed on music stages.
Forster was touring with North Carolina chart-topper Luke Combs when Cody, now 37, invited him on stage at Rod Laver Arena.
“My dad is a cattle farmer and his dad before him as well,” explained Wade who left Winton in 2017 to pursue a career in refrigeration in Mt Isa.
He bought his first guitar on Facebook for $50 and became a Top 50 All Around Cowboy in Australian Professional Rodeo Association’s National Finals Rodeo Standings.
Wade played gigs and rodeos around Western Queensland, Winton’s Way-Out West festival before playing 2023 Savannah in The Round.
His music and rodeo riding takes him to the 2025 Calgary Stampede Rodeo, Chuckwagon Races and Grandstand shows in Canada after his seven-day Drifter tour with former Florida Georgia Line co-founder Tyler Hubbard.

Tori Darke And Jay Santilli

Camden Golden Guitarist Tori Darke and Melbourne singer Jay Santilli return to our show with their new duet.
Tori, 31, and Jay, now 34, have performed together for 17 years and showed their talent in a girls’ night out on their video for their single Trouble that they wrote together.
Tori also fronted our show with her Crawl, Someone Else’s Baby and You Better Run videos.
The former Elderslie High School student visited Canada in 2009 where she played Merritt Mountain Country Music Festival with Kenny Chesney, Jo Dee Messina and Doc Walker.

Jay was a 2024 Toyota Star Maker Grand Finalist and shared stages with Morgan Evans and Kaylee Bell.
She visited Nashville where she collaborated with top songwriters while balancing her career with motherhood of two four year old twin daughters.
She has since released her new EP.

Tennesssee Backwater

Nashville band Tennessee Backwater headed to the bush and beyond to praise the front-line emergency men and women in their Nu Country debut with their In God We Trust video.
The trio also depicted the lives of farmers and blue-collar heroes and many unpaid volunteers.
They also highlighted other problems facing our modern world.
Blake Daniels and Bo and Hunter Elder have a deep-rooted love for farming, hunting and fishing and gained their foundation singing in church.
Bo plays guitar and Hunter performs on fiddle, mandolin and guitar.
Blake stepped into the spotlight sharing his vocals and talent.
All three members create and craft their own songs as songwriters, giving a deeper meaning to the lyrics and the music.
In God We Trust follows their Riverside film.

Jess Kellie Adams

Texan born Jess Kellie Adams who now calls Nashville home debuts in Behind Bars with her summary justice video Over It.
She lights up a bar after she catches her beau with a new lover.
Jess delivered justice with gun power in Over It from her latest album.
She also scored with her cute Christmas cover Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.

Chris Chitsey Chasing Tail-Lights

Texan Chris Chitsey also debuts in Behind Bars with a ruptured romance requiem.
His blonde bombshell left her love behind in a flash limo in his Chasing Tail-Lights video from his latest album.
He filmed his video at his Texas Old Western Town/Live Music Venue at Los Trece.

George, Waylon, Merle and Willie Nelson were among country historian Barbara Dowling’s favourite Texans.
The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 81, and son Shooter, 45.
