Mt Gambier born prolific Golden Guitarist Kasey Chambers and former singing spouse Shane Nicholson headline Nu Country TV at 9 pm on Saturday April 12 on Channel 31/Digital 44 with their divorce video.
Californian tourist Jon Pardi and Tennessean May visitor Max McNown return to our show that is repeated at 3 am on Monday.
Texan Miranda Lambert, Kentucky escapee Taylor Austin Dye and Queensland born Brittany Elise revisit our program filmed and edited by Laith Graham.

Kasey And Shane Celebrate Divorce

Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson showcase how they dealt with their divorce in their Nu Country TV return.
Kasey and Shane, both now 48, married in 2005 and split in 2013.


The Divorce Song is on Kasey’s 13th album Backbone – The Desert Child.
She also released new book Just Don’t Be A Dickhead with her intro penned by fellow star expat Australasian Keith Urban.
Chambers, mother of three children, fronted our show with her Backbone title track and A Love Like Springsteen videos.
Chambers was born in Mt Gambier and grew up in the outback with singer-songwriter father Bill, bassist mother Diane and brother Nash and recorded six albums with their Dead Ringer Band.
She previously fronted our show with Satellite filmed at artist David Bromley’s Daylesford studio.
Kasey has 14 ARIA Awards, 24 Golden Guitars, 10 APRA Awards, two Americana Music Awards nominations and 10 APRA Awards and lives at Copacabana on NSW central coast.

Brisbane born Nicholson released two duet discs with Chambers, 11 solo albums and won three ARIA Awards, 15 Golden Guitars and two APRA Awards.

Jon Pardi Visits Honky Tonk Hollywood

Recent Californian tourist Jon Pardi hit Hollywood honkytonks after his two Australian tours.
Jon, 39, takes viewers on a joyous journey of the bright lights.
He played Margaret Court Arena on March 19 with Larry Fleet and Zach Top and a headliner at CMC Rocks Queensland Festival.
Hollywood Honky Tonk is his sixth album title track and follows his recent Nu Country TV video Heartache Medication.
Pardi also played Melbourne Forum in April and May, 2019, with Georgian Luke Bryan, 47, and Brett Eldredge, 38, from Paris, Illinois.
Jon and Luke Bryan joined rodeo riders and ranchers with horses and cattle in another Nu Country TV video Cowboys and Playboys.
Pardi proposed to wife Summer Duncan on stage at hallowed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
They married on November 21, 2020, and have two children – a daughter and son.
Jon also fronted Nu Country with Last Night Lonely, Ain’t It Always The Cowboy, She Ain’t In It and Thomas Rhett on Beer Can’t Fix from Rhett’s fourth album Centrepoint Road.

Tennessean Max McNown Previews May Tour

Oregon born Nashville star Max McNown promotes his Australian May tour with his new video A Lot More Free.
Max, now 24, plays May 13 and 14 at the Forum in Melbourne CBD.
He makes the most of his freedom in his new video.
A Lot More Free is on his second album Night Diving that follows debut album Wandering and three EPs.
At 23 Max was inspired by his brother who was bravely fighting cancer.
He packed his bags and drove from remote Oregon to Southern California.
From there videos of him busking on a pier impacted online and won many supporters on TikTok.
McNown amassed 80 million streams and Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart with A Lot More Free which was #1 on TikTok Breakthrough USA chart.

Miranda Lambert Runs Fast And Furious

Texan troubadour triple Grammy winner Miranda Lambert uses her horses and other pets to show how she ran from lost love.
Miranda, now 41, escaped from ruptured romances with fellow singers Blake Shelton and Anderson East.
She found true love with her second husband – New York city cop Brendan McLoughlin.
Run is on her 10th album Post Cards From Texas.
It follows four with her Pistol Annies pals.
Lambert runs canine shelters in the Lone Star state and way beyond and thanked Ram Trucks for supporting her Mutt Nation Foundation’s disaster relief efforts in the Twisters.

Miranda fronted our show with Ain’t In Kansas Anymore on The Twisters soundtrack and Damn It Randy she penned with husband Brendan for Postcards From Texas.
Michael Hardy, Lukas Nelson and Jake Worthington joined Miranda for her Music For Mutts benefit concert at Nashville Ascend Amphitheatre October 5 with Ashley Monroe, Natalie Hemby, Little Big Town, Dan + Shay and Riley Green.
Her Mutt Nation Foundation 15th anniversary fundraiser included adoption events.
The nonprofit raised over $10 million to promote adoption support shelters, advance spay and neuter and assist emergency response during natural disasters.

Taylor Austin Dye Fast Escape

Kentuckian escapee Taylor Austin Dye also escaped her hospital bed in her return to our show.
She deals with her sickness with a happy ending out on the road.
Sick Of Me is her second solo album title track.
The Boonesville belle also fronted our show with her Hurt My Feelings, Fake Ring, Almost Oklahoma, Bible Belt and No Good Time Girl videos.

Taylor, now 30, recorded three albums with Maddy Font as the duo Maddie & Tae and now tours with her band Ride or Dyes and singing spouse Josh Kerr whom she wed in 2020.
Taylor was born in Oklahoma and lived in Kentucky before recording her 2023 debut album Out Of These Hills.
Maddie & Tae fronted our show in Fly and Girl In A Country Song they performed on their 2015 Australian tour with Lady Antebellum and Kristian Bush.

Brittany Elise Line Dancing Diva

Expatriate Queenslander Brittany Elise calls Nashville home where she hit Music City roads and parks in her vibrant video – We Good Alright.
She took up music after suffering knee injuries playing soccer, hockey and athletics and worked as a teacher in her recovery.
Elise wrote her song with Kirsti Manna and Bill DiLuigi and recorded it with Michael Flanders and Caleb Flanders in their Nashville studio with musicians including Ben Flanders – Ella Langley’s guitarist.
The video, directed by Justin Mayotte, gained international attention across line dancing communities with choreography by Lisa Marie and inspired We Good Alright line dance.

We Good Alright and Get This Party Started follow her 2019 debut album Something More in 2019 and are on her second album.

The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 81, and son Shooter, 45.
