Cali Tucker Loves Urban Cowboys
Texan troubadour Cali Tucker has good reasons to love Urban Cowboys like Keith.
Cali is the daughter of fellow Texan singer LaCosta Tucker and niece of legendary Tanya Tucker.
This week she performs her Urban Cowboy video that follows her Country Couture debut on our show and her 2017 debut album Cover Girl and single Dandelion.
Cali was a finalist on The Voice sixth season and Miss Teen All American winner.
“I wore 32 different outfits,” revealed Cali whose renowned recording artist mum LaCosta Tucker appeared in all her videos.
“It was crazy to have to organize all of that. But it was cool because I got to wear a lot of my mom’s vintage dresses and a lot of the dresses that I wore back when I was in pageants.
“I don’t take myself seriously at all. I think there’s a lot of beautiful, serious, talented ladies out there that lean on the beauty and the cuteness. And then I really want to lean on the comedy too.
“I’ve been living this country couture lifestyle forever, but I never put a name to it. And the country couture line just kind of came to me and I was like, man, I need to write a song about this flip side of my life.”
