- An interview with Piers Akerman of The Australian and Sydney Daily Telegraph after the death of Texan crime novelist Kinky Friedman.
- Engagement with fans via email, in person at concerts, at AFL footy games and delivery of prizes to members.
- A new website was developed following the retirement of Anne Sydenham who managed the first Nu Country website for 20 years.
- Over fifty Facebook page posts to highlight new material on the website and TV.
- Commenced discussions with channel C31 / Digital 44 to facilitate the streaming of previously broadcast programs. At present there are no music based programs on C31 which can be replayed after they are broadcast. This is due to the existence of royalty and licensing laws in AU and globally which must be complied with. C31 is in discussion with the royalty and licensing authorities, to try to negotiate an arrangement to allow replays of our programs. This process is taking much longer than we anticipated to progress. We will let everyone know when there is something tangible to report.
Thanks to David Dawson, Laith Graham, Anne Sydenham, Ruth Pease and Carol Taylor for their tireless work and enthusiasm. Thanks to those who currently support us financially and we look forward to your ongoing assistance.
